So I finally got the Bluehost refund after cancelling my hosting package with them, even though I was actually expecting it to be later. They refunded me through PayPal. I am going to use part of the refund for my promotional campaign for my web directory and bid for position directory. I am expecting both to hit at least a PR6 and PR5 respectively in the next Google update. A higher PR means more $$$, and more $$$ means wedding bells.
Heh.
As we approach the final week of May, I will be doing some basic accounting to see how much I’ve earned from my problogging/web directories/text link ads/PPC activities this month. This is turning out to be the best month ever. I will publish the results on this blog and see whether I have met my personal target of $2K (in USD, not Ringgit) this month.
A website owner is looking for blogs with a PR between 2 and 4 to place his link on these blogs for $3 per link. Details are as follows.

Feeling quite rich, as SR sent me their bi-weekly payment for the jobs I did for them. It actually caught me by surprise as I was expecting it next week….

Money is a great motivator, I must tell you.
Blogging Ads is a new paid blogging service. Actually, they are not new. They have been around since November last year, but they relied on giving offers via e-mail and the maximum offers that you can take is two per blog. But now they have unveiled their new website, and the process is not only automated, but you can take as many offers that are available from them. You may have noticed some posts for Blogging Ads on this blog, I posted them here as an experiment.
Lets see whether they will keep their promise of paying bloggers on a weekly basis. If they do, I will certainly recommend this programme to bloggers. Don’t stop yourself from registering with them however.
How do you recover data that you accidentally deleted? Believe me, that happened to me a couple of times. I’ve tried various data recovery software there is out there each time it happens but most of the softwares do not really work very well. In one incident where my hard drive was formatted by the computer store, I lost all my important data and only managed to recover about 10% of the information. It was a big blow to me and I learnt my lesson: always backup your files frequently.
But if you need a data recovery software, perhaps you shoud try Handy Recovery. This software is designed to recover files which you accidentally deleted or formatted. No matter what file system your hard drive is, whether it is FAT 12/16/32, NTFS or NTFS 5 + EFS, Handy Recovery will be able to recover your lost files. The software can show you the probability of a successful file recovery and it has an in-depth scanning ability for searching specified types of files. If this captures your interest, then you should know that Handy Recovery has a trial version, but it is limited to recover only one file per day. Buy the software to enjoy the full features as described previously.
Or more specifically, I have transferred ibnjuferi.net to a new host. I liked Bluehost but I need to be cost-effective. So I have decided on a better (and cheaper!) local hosting solutions company. It seems that the DNS nameservers for the domain has propagated (I changed it last night) and its official, I’m with a new hosting.
Now I am in the process of waiting for the DNS nameservers to propagate for MENJ.ORG (I’ve already changed them). I’m going to test out my new toy and enjoy how fast it is.
