Amazon Context Links Beta

Posted on Friday, March 30th 2007 7:49 pm by menj in Affiliates

Amazon has recently announced their Context Links Beta program, very similar to the way Kontera displays their ads. According to their blog:

Context Links are for people looking for an easy way to generate money from the content they write. Bloggers, review sites, and people that have archived pages that are currently not monetized are excellent candidates for Context Links.

I have just placed the code onto some of my blogs but have yet to gauge their effectiveness. So far they have not appeared yet but a demo of how the links work can be seen here and here (dotted underlined links are Context Links). It certainly shows much promise!

I applied on Amazon’s website for a position in customer service working from home. I start training at their facility in Seattle on Friday. I have a recommendation from a doctor for medical marijuana, and am curious, if I can be denied the job because of this?
Additionally, what kind of drug test is it? Urine, blood or saliva? I am only on site for one day, Friday, but the rest of training will be at home.

My sister wants to buy an Amazon gift card on Amazon, but she doesn’t have a bank account or credit card or anything. Will they let her make an account on Amazon and use a gift card to purchase something or does she need a bank account attached to her Amazon account? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

So back in April 2011, I bought a HTC Freestyle on AT&T from Amazon Wireless. One of the things I agreed to when I bought the phone is that I would use it for a certain number of months. I can’t remember how many months it said and I can’t find it anywhere on the Amazon Wireless site. Does anyone know anything about this or know where I can find it?

If, Amazon list unauthorized publishers and outdated ISBN aren’t they basically promoting illegal activity? If the publisher is Print to Order and sells books would not the Third Party be on their own? Also, Where is the money going? Who then is Amazon obligated to? Their Authors or the Third Party?

Do you have to pay online on Amazon?
Can you pay cash-in-hand with Amazon or do you have to use a credit card?

I’ve been noticing that you can download pc games off amazon. How does this work? Do you download a product key for steam or does amazon have its own multiplayer servers?

It may seem like a silly question, but how does Amazon stock a gazillion items? It’s unlikely that they would have an enormous warehouse containing everything. In thinking that they have partnerships with many retailers, how is that when it is shipped to me that the box is an Amazon box?

      THanks!

I see many items on Amazon that I would like to get, some cost less than a dollar, really cheap, but I wonder if they are in good enough condition to buy. Are they?

Hey guys, I am trying to get a new camera for my upcoming anniversary party. I am looking for some amazon promotional codes, or coupons, that will work with the camera section.

I am buying a Nikon if that helps. If you know any places to find the coupons, let me know!

      Thanks

I’m doing a power point presentation about the deforestation of the amazon. One of my sub-topics is “the deforestation of the amazon for medical purposes”. For example, how are we using plants/animals and exploiting them for medical purposes. I have google it but I haven’t found anything. Do you guys have any ideas?
      Thank you in advance.

Ok i have around 10$ in amazon gift cards redeemed already from a free site. When i go to place my order, the message that always comes up is that my funds are insufficient and that i have not entered a credit card number. Do i absolutely need to give a credit card number or will the gift card suffice? (the item i am buying is a very low price and with shipping included the total is around 6$.) Why is my order not being processed, and how can i fix this?

So I bought something on Amazon a little while back, and stupidly I threw away everything except for what I bought. I later realized that the item was missing something important. I want to return it now, but is that possible without the original box and such?

I need to do an animation for school. I downloaded opensource programs to help me. I just need the proper steps to help me figure them out. I watched tutorials I know how to use them. Just, how could I turn this into a 3-5 minute animation?

So I got my new Toshiba Equium P300-16T laptop 4 days ago, and for the past 3 days, every time I have signed onto my account a pop-up comes up saying Windows has had to close the program. My mouse is working fine but I cannot use the scroll features.

      Any ideas?
