Busy, busy….

Posted on Saturday, July 7th 2007 11:21 am by menj in Directories, Internet, WordPress

Never thought that I’d neglect blogging for so long but I have a reason for that. Still waiting the final outcome of the impending sale of my bid directory which the buyer has agreed to purchase at USD 1.5K. My intention was never to sell it but after consultation and receiving advice from many others in the industry, I decided to sell it and start a new one However, I will only start aggressive promotion of this bid directory once the sale goes through and I receive the $$$.

In other news, I’ve begun to discover the joy of selling sponsored links in WordPress themes (already making some $$$ from it) and bought the license for Mishre Directory to open its doors. I am focusing more on income from web directories and have yet to fully realise the potential of selling sponsored links in WP themes (although I have three themes on standby to be coded), I will touch on that later. To put it simply, however, I am no longer depending on blogging as my sole income source. I’d advise those of you who are serious about generating income online to never fully rely on one internet source for your moola needs. Try starting a web directory if you have a good domain name and server space to spare. You would need to spend for advertising but once the submissions start to come in, the rewards are enormous.

I’m doing an essay based on “A change from where I’m from” and basically I have to describe two places. One thing I want to say is the busy traffic and I want to use a metaphor.
eg. the traffic was as busy as busy bees.
      please help!!!1

Mondays, Tuesdays, and half of Wednessdays are busy busy in my office. The rest of the week drags!! I get everything done and out of the way early in the week and then I have nothing to do. Thankfully my boss is trying to help by giving me more and more tasks but I still end up waiting for the phone to ring or for someone to need something.

I know it bothers my boss when he sees that I am back to checking my email and surfing the net…

What do you do to keep busy when you have completed all your tasks for the week? (preferably something a boss would like to see an employee doing when they have down time)

We found a house that we really love. The only problem is, it’s on a busy street. It’s not really really busy, like highway busy, but it is a main thoroughfare. I have children too, small, we also have a garage that i will park my car in for them to get into (this is what I thought). This is the only downfall of the house. Would you do it?

My mom is beginning the new Weight Watchers program. I feel like I am at a point where I can focus a little better on myself since my kids are not babies anymore. (ages 2 and 4) I am thinking about doing Weight Watchers as well. Have any of y’all had success with it? Is it easy to follow the program? Have y’all had a difficult time following the program with your busy lives with your busy kids? I am really tired of the jelly belly Wyatt has left me.

I am going to NY soon and i am staying in staten island. I am not sure if this is the best place to stay because i want to be meeting young people and i want to stay in a busy area with malls and busy high streets. Is staten island busy in general where you can meet lots of young people?

I’ve been trying to track down the episode for ages. The bee’s sang a song in the beginning that said something like, “bees bees busy busy bees, how we make our honey you will see.” If anybody could shed some light on the name of this episode it would be greatly appreciated.

By busy, you understand its meaning by getting to be do very fast to catch up with things (or/and with the competition with others) to survive in it.
Better if you actually experienced it and write your feeling.

I wanted to get a job at a nice Hooter’s restaurant, one where most people go to and its busy. The more busy the place is I would probably make more money. I know there is 3 of them in Vegas.

I am thinking of becoming a doctor as my future career, I don’t care how much work I have to put in. But the problem is that I also want a family in the future. It seems like being a doctor is so stressful and that they don’t really have the time to spend with their family. Is it true that a doctor’s life is just busy, busy, busy that they don’t have the time to spend on their family?
