CanoScan LiDE 100

If you have been following my other blog, you would know that I recently bought a new, black and shiny scanner (a Canon model) two days ago from Challenger Malaysia store at the Mines Shopping Centre.. I had to get one as the old one (Plustek) which I was using for some 8+ years broke down on me. After having some trouble with it (turns out that the first time around, it was a faulty model), I went back to the store and got it exchanged. Now it is working like a charm.

As you can see, the scanner complements my desktop setup perfectly. Here was its first test image scan and here is its first successful OCR scan.

Mine was when my husband was in the garden(he was not in the best of moods) when he stepped on some doggy doo in his bare feet and it came up between his toes. I was pretending to be as disgusted as he was, when all I wanted to do was explode with laughter. Tell me yours.

Hey, I have a Dell laptop that’s under a year old with Windows Vista. I am an art student and have just signed up to DeviantART, a site where artists can post their creations.I would prefer to scan my work as my photographs often end up dark or with odd patches of light, but I’m not sure if I can just buy any scanner and plug it in to my laptop, if I need one with a special feature to use with a laptop, or if I can’t use one with a laptop at all.
      Many thanks πŸ™‚

I sometimes become anxious or paranoid if I see my ex in places such as pubs, clubs, shopping centres, etc. She lives in a different borough to me but it’s right next to mine so it’s practically a train ride for her. How can I change my thinking ways about worrying about seeing my ex. Advice would be great πŸ™‚

I’ve come across this situation several times now–usually in a shopping center.

A Tamil friend of mine gave a few Diwali snacks and there is one that I really like but I’m not sure what they’re called. They are the consistency of marzipan and have an sweet herbal flavor.

Another perfect creation of cannon again. I like the design it sleeker than I thought. So perfect on your computer table. πŸ˜€

I heard it’s very easy but I can’t get mine off. It’s the molded console between the front seats, covering the parking break lever, and has cup holders in it.

I am thinking of buying a pug and was wondering for anyone who has one:
      – What activities at home you do with the pug?
      – Where do you take the pug outside the home? (Being that malls and shopping centres do not allow dogs)
      – How much exercise can your pug handle? (i.e. 30min or 2km of walking)
