    1. Salam,

Semua setuju. Tak dayus ke ini? Betulkah Melayu Johor pun turut sokong British? Tak percaya saya!

UMNO lahir di Istana Johor. John Braddle menyediakan perlembagaan UMNO. Bukan Melayu Johor tetapi British! Onn Jafaar talibarut British jadi presiden UMNO. Semuanya Johor. Tak ada Johor tak ada UMNOlah. Eloklah tu. UMNO ciptaan British, bukan ciptaan Melayu Johor!

Apa nak jadi!

Malaysia is a federation that consists of thirteen states and three federal territories in Southeast Asia with a total landmass of 329,847 square kilometres (127,355 sq mi). The capital city is Kuala Lumpur, while Putrajaya is the seat of the federal government. The population stands at over 25 million. The country is separated into two regions—Peninsular Malaysia and Malaysian Borneo—by the South China Sea.[ Malaysia borders Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Brunei and the Philippines. The country is located near the equator and experiences a tropical climate. Malaysia’s head of state is the Yang di-Pertuan Agong (conventionally referred to as ‘the King’ or ‘the Agong’) and the government is headed by a Prime Minister. The government is closely modeled after the Westminster Parliamentary System.

    8. Do you know any Southeast Asian leaders besides
Corazon Aquino, Ferdinand Marcos, Buddha, Ho Chi Minh, Ngo Dinh Diem, Pol Pot, Lee Kwan Yew, Aung San Suu Kyi, Yang di- Pertuan Agong, Hassanal Bolkiah

If so, write down the country beside their name.

    9. Penal Code Section 121A :- Offences against the Yang di-Pertuan Agong’s person.

Whoever compasses, IMAGINES, invents, devises or intends the death of or hurt to or imprisonment or restraint of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong or any of the Rulers or Yang di-Pertua-Yang di-Pertua Negeri, their heirs or successors, shall be punished with DEATH and shall also be liable to fine.

**Wtf? … how they know what am i imaginating right now … how they prove it? … and punishable with death??? … wow! this is so f**king crazy … so guys please be careful .. don’t imagine any ill intention towards our Sultan or Agong … muahaha

“Action against ‘flaming’ blogs: Belittle the king or Islam and you face the music”
(kinda reminded me about our little space here in Yahoo Answers some time back… LOL)

KUALA LUMPUR: “The time for talk is over, now is the time to act.” With this warning shot, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz said the government would be taking legal action against bloggers who flagrantly belittled Islam or the Yang di-Pertuan Agong.
He told the Dewan Negara yesterday that three laws could be used against the bloggers: The Internal Security Act (ISA), Sedition Act and Section 121b of the Penal Code.

Section 121b deals with offences against the authority of the king, ruler or Yang DiPertua Negeri and carries a maximum penalty of life in prison.
Speaking at the Malaysian Press Institute Press Awards Night here yesterday, Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak said the government was deeply troubled by the growth of “irresponsible” alternative media.

“In the name of freedom, these websites allow the broadcast of slander, lies and swearing, the use of harsh, degrading language and racial slurs without regard for the reader or those concerned,” he said.
“Even though the government has been tolerant of anti-government positions and criticisms on the Internet, we are very concerned about statements that insult religion and reek of racism.”

Najib said webmasters and web journalists were not exempted from the laws of the country and the government was duty-bound to protect the peace.

“We will not permit any party to disturb the nation’s harmony and cause unease among the community,” he said.

Nazri said the government was looking at formulating new laws allowing it to monitor and act against offending bloggers.
“This is to put a stop to the freedom to lie in the blogosphere.

“We want blogs to be clean, a place to obtain accurate information, a reference point for honest opinion, not a platform to abuse and slander people,” he said.

Nazri told senators the government had lost its patience with bloggers who broke the law and it could not be “seen as impotent or weak” in the face of their defiance.

He said bloggers had come to believe they were like members of parliament, who enjoyed immunity to say what they wanted under the law.

“But the reality is that, despite the immunity, MPs and senators have to play by some basic rules.

“This is not the case with bloggers who flout the law. It is time to act, we have been very patient,” he told cheering senators while replying to points raised during the debate on the Electronic Government Activities Bill 2007.
Senators used the opportunity to criticise bloggers against the backdrop of a police report lodged on Monday at the Dang Wangi police station by Umno information chief Tan Sri Muhammad Muhammad Taib against the Malaysia Today website for insulting the king and Islam.

Nazri told senators that writings describing Islam as “a big lie fabricated by Arabs who had put a huge rock (the Kaabah) in the middle of the desert were not only ill-mannered but could provoke anger among Muslims”.

He said the hatred perpetuated by bloggers was spread further by those who read them.
      Gerakan man: Don’t gag bloggers

GEORGE TOWN: The government should stop going after bloggers, Gerakan central committee member Datuk Toh Kin Woon said yesterday.

Toh said the recent arrest of Nathaniel Tan, a blogger affiliated with the opposition Parti Keadilan Rakyat, and the call by Umno to take police action against the Malaysia Today website reflected a growing trend towards stifling dissent in the country.

He said that as the nation moved forward, the government could not be content with promoting development to the detriment of human rights.

“Civil and political rights such as the right to free speech, dissent and assembly are as important as economic rights such as the right to a job, housing, medical care and education.”
      Another showcase of Malaysia Boleh?

LOL… sorry but I just have to say to this guy… he’s a real asshole and I don’t give two hoots about his stupid threats.

    11. .which country consists of thirteen states and the head of state is the Yang di-Pertuan Agong (conventionally referred to as ‘the King’ or ‘the Agong’) and the country has a population of approximately 25 million people

    12. His uncle is the 16th Sultan of the Malaysian state of Terengganu. His name is Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin. His title is Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia XIII (King of Malaysia) and Sultan of Terengganu.
There was also another name: Duli Yang Maha Mulia Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Wathiqu Billah Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Mahmud Al-Muktafi Billah Shah.

If the Sultan is my friend’s Uncle, then what would that make my friend? I am not sure if it is on his mom’s side, or dad’s. Give me possibilities of both.

Is my friend a duke? a prince? a nobleman??

    14. Not that I want to become one because my current citizenship gives me a lot goodies worldwide which I would lose by returning it, but I just want to ask hypothetically. How can a foreign citizen qualify for Malaysian citizenship?

Is Malaysia like free countries which easily make foreigners who wish to stay, equal with their natives? Or is it more like Middle East dictator countries which don’t give the citizenship even to those born there until they die?

Please support your answers with good arguments, don’t just post answers like “yes, can, Malaysia is a good country” or “no, cannot, Malaysia sucks”. Quote your sources.

I know in Anwar time it used to be possible but things have changed since. Does a child whose both parents are foreigners and legal residents in Malaysia get a Malaysian citizenship? Can a foreigner who legally resides in Malaysia for a longer period of time and speaks BM become a Malaysian? If can, what are the criteria?
Gabriel, what you said is a common myth among Malaysian non-Muslim, but trust me as an external party, it’s not true.

A friend of mine, an American who converted to Islam and married a Malaysian, has been living in Malaysia since 1978 and his application for PR keeps on getting rejected. Another case is my friend’s mother who is a Sikh from Indonesia and married a Malaysian Sikh. She also hasn’t got PR and her oldest child is now 25, so you can imagine how long she was here until she got fed up couple of years ago and moved to Singapore.

Only foreign women who marry to Malay (not Chinese etc) men, which are few compare to foreign men married to Malaysian women, can get citizenship from my experience and I saw some Indonesian Sumatran men who married Malaysian women got it, but it’s because Acheh people are basically Malays.

Btw, I’m not willing to give up my citizenship no matter what, not that I’m a patriot but it gives me a lot of benefits.
