      Hello,
I want to know if somebody scrapped my website content. Then will google identify who copied from whom ? and do google consider my website has duplicate content ? will my site penalized ?

Google has started displaying a location under the search bar to the left. There’s an option to change the location, or to let Google auto-detect, but I don’t want a location displayed at all. How do I stop Google from showing what it thinks is my location under the search bar on the left?

I’ve even used a tool that did this before but I can’t find one. The tool did something like this: produced my Pagerank and displayed 15 different ‘sources’ that each showed something between 0 and 4 (in my case). Shortly thereafter, an official update occured and sure enough I had PR4. Now I’m trying to find this tool again! Thanks!

      Hi,

I have recently launched a new website. I just want to know how long does it take for Google to recognize backlinks to my site. I am currently generating backlinks by posting on different forums, blog commenting and directory submission. It has been a week now but still there are 0 backlinks to my site according to Google.

Yahoo is relatively quicker than Google in recognizing backlinks. Does anyone have any idea how long does it take for Google to recognize backlinks to my website?

I was just wondering how can Google get profits by providing us a free researching system. We pay nothing and the google allows us to search free. How does it work??
      Thank you

Please help me how to solve this problem. I find that when using Google with many users in an office, google blocks us. I can’t use Google search anything now. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Did the google phone come to Verizon Wireless? Is it the HTC DROID ERIS and/or the MOTOROLA DROID? Are there several versions for the google phone? Is the google phone different for each cellphone network? How much is it? I heard that is was coming to Verizon Wireless in the spring but I am not sure. If you know anything, please answer. I really want to know when the google phone is coming to Verizon Wireless and if it came out already.

I was just reading on wiki about the hardware infrastructure of google. It sounds ridiculously enormous! So could this be a possible threat? Or is google pretty much indestructible?

I know how to use google for searching any keyword but when we search any keyword, search engines consider so many factors for SERPs such as back links, urls and titles of the pages. But I need to know how to search in google for the web pages which contain a specific phrase in the body of the page and not in the url or title.

I reluctantly installed the newest version of internet explorer, and this meant getting google update. So now google tries to guess what you’re going to type while you type it? It’s driving me crazy.

      How do I disable this?

It’s gotten to the point were I’ve tried to type faster than google can guess, and its making my computer lag… šŸ™

      Thanks!

I’m curious only because it seems to come extremely natrual and easy. Even taking off and landing. I’m only using a mouse for most of the controls but it seems as though the actual mechanical controls would make it much easier to “feel” what is going on. Or, is google just faking me out? Thank’s to any pilots out there who have tried the one on google!

Pagerank says it gives more weight to links from site that themslves have lots of links. So if I say link my website to my ebay page or to a yahoo answers page or web forums do I gain the benifits of their having many sites linking to them.
What other ways are there of increasng rankings.
