Directory of internet marketing tools

marketingmule_logo.gif

As a problogger, I would need to drive traffic and promote my blogs like crazy in order to spread information about my blogs online. Hence, I will usually resort to the use of marketing tools. If you are looking for a place where you can read reviews of effective marketing tools, then you should go to Marketing Mule, an online directory of Internet Marketing Tools. As the largest directory of online marketing tools, Marketing Mule claims to have over one thousand tools listed in its directory. Their strongest features are their easy to search database to look for the marketing tools that you need as well as the reviews of the tools which are also rated by popularity.

When searching the database, I found three tools which are of interest to me as an active problogger: AdTrackz, Million Dollar Emails and of course, I am not forgetting the Nichebot Multiple Keyword Research Tool. These are all required marketing tools in order for me to promote the web directory and gain more webmasters to submit their links to the directory. I found Marketing Mule to be very useful, I am sure that it can help you as well.

    2. My partner and I have been working for the past year and a half developing a marketing system to help promote local businesses in a certain niche market (sorry wont say what the niche is). But when we go to pitch our service we are running into problems. First this is what we do:

Basically we have developed a website much akin yellow pages which only caters towards this niche, over the past year and a half we have become highly optimized for almost every category in the niche ranking in the top 3 spots in Google Yahoo and Bing (MSN). (outranking even yellowpages, yelp, yellowbook and others)

However we are not only offering a subscription into the directory (which gives the clients more exposure). We build each client a website, they get to choose their domain name, we create a custom classified advertisements to use, and we promote their businesses through Google Adwords, (this is done by having adwords drop the click through onto their listing page on our site.) In addition we give the clients access to a backend where they can track how many impressions their classified ads recieve, how many clickthroughs to their website, and a host of other statistical tools.

This is above and beyond yellowpages, in fact many clients we talk to say they spend 150-300 a month on yellowpages and recieve NO results.

We have a few clients who are very satisfied with the service, and it has helped them land additional business. In fact for most of our clients, only 1 job from a lead covers a months charge or more, and we only charge $50/mo promotional rate for 6 months then it goes to $80/mo from there.

Now here is the problem we face when trying to get new clients…. Many of you may have been cold called and pitched by some internet search engine optimization company that promises that they can get you on the front page of Google for a fee.. Most of those companies are shady and provide no results. For some reason when we start talking to people this is what they think we are doing… when in fact this is NOT what we are doing at all!

I’m kind of at a how I can effectively market our service without being confused as one of these shady businesses. Since this is not what we are doing.

    8. Can anyone recommend a better tool than search engines? I was thinking of a website that has a directory of recommended websites, and isn’t plagued by market affiliate programs. This would be ideal for finding anything reliable on the web, as this kind of structure is missing from the internet.

    14. Im taking a 50 question test and i am not 100 percent sure on these answers. Can you check them for me. I would appreciate it. Thanks 🙂

Which was not a reason that New England became the center of the American Industrial Revolution?

large numbers of swift-flowing rivers that could produce power

coastal trading ports on or near the Atlantic Ocean

access to Pennsylvania’s abundant supply of coal <—

climate that supported a large agricultural base

What helped spur the growth of American industry in the beginning of the nineteenth century?

      increased federal support for entrepreneurs

trade agreements with France and England

trade embargoes and the War of 1812 <—

interstate commerce agreements between New England states

How did developing the system of roads in the early nineteenth century affect the economy?

It brought in additional federal revenues through tolls.

It made trade more attractive to foreign nations, especially England. <—

It helped the country transition from a subsistence economy to a market economy.

It caused a downturn in the economy because of road construction expenses.

What was an effect of Robert Fulton's development of steamboat travel?

More people were willing to vacation along the waterways.

The cost of transporting goods became more expensive for farmers.

      Westward expansion became much easier.

Trade along the Mississippi River began moving in both directions. <—

. How did the growth and development of railroads affect the American economy?

Railroads created a shortage of the coal that was used in fueling New England mills.

Railroads eliminated jobs for mule drivers, causing a recession in some areas.

Railroads made the rapid movement of produce and goods into many markets possible. <—

Railroads increased transportation expenses and strained the economy.

How had the American electorate changed by the election of 1828?

Thanks to the suffragette movement, women in some states were eligible to vote.

With landholding requirements still in place, fewer men were eligible to vote.

With landholding requirements eliminated, most white men were eligible to vote.

Property requirements for voting continued to keep African American men from voting.

I dont know the last one at all.

    15. Well I have two QH’s I’ve been trying to sell for two months. Both are great trail horses and are only 5 and 6. One is a cute Palomino. I have them listed as 1K each, best offer or trade on a good mule. I just am not riding these guys much and I have fallen for mules!! I haven’t even gotten a Call yet!! I live in North FL….any ideas?? I do have them listed on a couple of websites already….
Yep I’ll lower the price…I didn’t even think about the way searches go by price. Money is not an issue just that they go to a good horse knowledgeable home. These are great guys and deserve proper treatment….of course all creatures do 🙂
I’m being desciptive and honest in my ads….Again both are excellent trail horses, one is best caught with food 🙂
      Thanks for the good ideas!!
To DBDB- I’m in North Florida USA just outside of Gainesville.

    16. Howard is a very large and very strong pack mule. A local farmer is planning to use Howard to carry his crops of carrots to the market. The farmer has 3,000 carrots. The market is 1,000 miles away. Howard can only carry 1,000 carrots at a time. Unfortunately, Howard eats one carrot for each mile that he walks. This trip is going to need some real planning. What is the largest number of carrots that the farmer can expect to get to the market?

      Notes:
The farmer won’t hold any carrots.
At the very end, the farmer is going to sell Howard.
If you don’t feed Howard after every mile, Howard won’t move.
You can make Howard drop the carrots anywhere, e.g. 100 miles, 200 miles, etc.

I’m thinking about dropping the carrots somewhere and then going back to pick up more carrots, and then drop them again, and then go back for more. But I know this is a long try and error process before I can find the best answer.

    17. You can get rich by exploiting them for cheap labor if you were a business owner. Their upkeep is less the what it cost to house a slave prior to the Civil War. Human smuggling pays also pays quite handsomely. Transporting twenty illegals @ 5k per head would give you a gross profit of 100k. Most of the trucks that are stopped can hold substantially more. That doesn’t include the ancillary profits that can be made from using the illegals as mules for drug runners. Their children are often recruited into street gangs like MS-13 where more money is made from extortion, drug trafficking and murder for hire. (Minors are used by adults to commit the more heinous crimes because the sentences for juveniles lack teeth). Stolen cars are used for the car part market; stolen building supplies allow for cheaper construction costs and the list goes on and on. If you like making money and you don’t care about how you do it using illegal aliens is a sure ticket to economic success.

    18. We went to the flea market the other day and noticed they had people selling dogs. I don’t necissarily think its a good idea but what do you think?
Yeah it kind of disturbed me too. Plus you never know what your going to end up with, you definately have don’t have any kind of health guarentee. It looks like they are trying to put a stop to it at ours. They don’t bring the actual pups anymore just photos but it still bugs me

    19. organic garden: a friend brought me some watermelon seeds from vietnam. in vietnem they are in market small compared to what one sees in markets here. i live in the desert and started a small plot about 3 feet down and 6 around. ther was one that was very big at first and was told by him to pick it because it is three times what thay are vietnam. it was still not ripe. so i am letting the the rest do their thing a will wait. i used plenty of mule poop…lots to regenerate a lifeless desert ground. they are about 5 times bigger than what at the markets in vietnam and they are still growng. what is going on?

    20. hi. i am writing a report on developing a resort for my class. i am stuck. i am making up the market share of the resort. what am i suppose to say about it? could someone please help me. thanks!

    21. This would be a company that gives the average price of things. And businesses for this product can advertise on my site by posting up on the site that their prices go along with the average listed on my site. How can I get this going? What do I need?

    22. i have something that looks to be hives but im not sure. its a two small bumps that appeared the day after getting my cat and has been getting better but not gone yet. its red and swollen looking. what should i do?
