Under my company, VCTech Network, I am pleased to announce that we have released several new themes for WordPress for you to download and use on your blogs for free. I am sure that some of you will find these themes exciting enough to be downloaded for your personal use. Anyway, here are the themes that have been made available:

For a working demo and direct download for the themes, visit the individual links for each theme. More free themes for WordPress will be made available soon, there are about ten to eleven more themes available in stock with three themes already coded and slated for release soon.

I’ve downloaded a free 3 column wordpress theme and I’ve change the design and feel of the theme, I would like to offer this theme for free download but can i change the footer of the theme? That is a copy right message inside the footer file: WARNING: *This file is protected by copyright law. To reverse engineer or decode this file is strictly prohibited. */

I only remain the 3 column layout of the theme but already change all the image and design in the theme, in this case can I change the footer?

Because I downloaded a free theme called “Ureeka” which I think is called an “external theme”. And I want to install it on my WordPress blog. Most tutorials say just go to Appearance -> Themes -> Install Themes. But I can’t find the “Install Theme” button anywhere. Is it only for Pro users? Or can free users also install free themes? If so, could you help me?

If I download a free theme from the wordpress website, do I have to leave in the links from the original author? Or are they all completely free to adapt?

Ideally I want to download a free theme that is suitable for a client, remove the links to the original author, edit the theme and then sell it on. But I don’t know if the themes on the wordpress website allow you to do this or if you have to keep the link at the bottom that says something like “wordpress theme by ‘whoever’ “.

If this is not allowed does anybody know of a website where you can download completely free themes with no branding or links to authors etc? I am essentially looking for something a bit more than a shell of a template but without the links.

Hi I am looking for any free WP themes I can download. I would like a theme which gives me a members sign in section and more. Any recommendations?

This theme can only be uploaded on WP.org right? I created an account with WP.com but I can only use their themes I want to use my own, well down load a template and tweak it a bit to suit my logo.

      Thanks

I have a free blog on wordpress.com and would like to use other themes other than the free ones provided there. How do I do it? I know I have to download wordpress.org or something like that to upload my own theme. If so, do I have to pay money for it and where can I get free web hosting or my own domain so as to use my own theme? I’m horribly confused and it would be nice for someone to explain it all to me.

I have a blog from wordpress.com. I have seen many sites with free themes for wordpress. But to install them it occurred to be that I have to have the wordpress 2.5 program from wordpress.org.

I downloaded WordPress 2.5 but was clueless as to how to use it. I was told I ought to have a web hosting site, but my blog is just my personal one, that’s it. I don’t see a need to pay for web hosting. I just want to change the theme of my existing blog, that’s it. Any suggestions?

      Thanks in advance.

I downloaded the free work-a-holic wordpress theme and have been able to edit the css for most of it thus far. The problem has been with the navigation, I have seen that people have changed the font and color of the default navigation so I know it can be done, I just can not find where it is in the css file. I don’t understand how to add php to change this, its not a custom menu per se, I created the menu and pages in the wordpress dashboard, I just cant find out where the text colors are. Also is there a footer in this, I can’t find it anywhere either!!

I am trying to put together a photo website, and need a good black one column template that will be pretty much a photo gallery. I am no good at all with the new css and such, I am lost in the html era.
