Games for the Mac

Posted on Monday, September 3rd 2007 9:45 pm by menj in Internet

Many people do enjoy playing computer games in their spare time and there are a lot of titles for PC users to enjoy. For Mac users, however, there are not many games which are made for the Mac OS. This can be annoying, especially if you are a game lover but had no choice but to lug that Mac laptop with you for a long trip outstation. Or maybe you are just bored at work and want to relax and unwind, but all that you get is a Mac computer. So where do you find a place for you to download mac games? You can get them at this website called phelios.com where games such as rpg games for the PC and as well as some mac games are available. There are many choices for you to pick here, so there are no worries if you think that you will not be able to find the game you like best. Just browse through, download a game you like, and enjoy!

Hey there! I was looking for an online company where I could pay to download mac games. The game I specifically want to buy is Rome: Total War. I don’t want illegal websites where I can download games for free. Websites similar to Steam but for macs. Thanks very much!

I am a computer gamer (mac) and its obvious that most games are not compatible with the mac. Does anybody know why this is?

OK so next to a lot of games on steam show a mac symbol + a pc symbol, now I was wondering if that means that its available for both or that you can buy it for one and then later play it on the other without having to buy it again.

Like mac versions of PC games like Half Life 1 or Stalker Shadow of Chernobyl?

So far the only mac games I’ve seen on it that I actually want to get are Amnesia, Penumbra, and Left 4 Dead, although I haven’t looked through the entire mac settings. Almost every good old (oldish) game that was for PC doesn’t currently have a mac version. Will they anytime soon?

A fps would be cool. Something like combat arms for the pc, but it has to be mac compatible. Any suggestion would be cool.

I want to know if I’ll be able to buy it right away (I have Macs). The website really didn’t help at all, I couldn’t find any of this information. All I could find was stuff advertising for them and about how cool the game will be.

I want to go buy The Sims 3 in a mac platform tonight at either Best Buy or Target. I know that these stores do not normally carry games in Mac platforms , however , after looking at some pictures online , I noticed the boxes include both a PC and MAC sticker on them. I just want to know if I can get the game at either Best Buy or Target. Is the game equipped for both platforms?

Just wondering. Please don’t say that a mac isn’t for gaming. I know that. I know what I need for myself right now and I don’t wanna spend money on a gaming laptop like alienware. But still wondering what games a mac can play and how well.

I was wondering where I could download good games for macintosh. If anyone can suggest a site or a way I can install games in a mac, I would greatly appreciate it. All the sites I’ve visited only gave me demos and trials.
