Getting the right gadget

I have been earning money from online internet activities for some time and I am very pleased that after calculation, my income has grown significantly every since I embarked on diversification of my business. When I first started out making money from the internet, it was through paid blogging services from various blogging networks. After I realised that I cannot be too dependent on these networks, I started working on other methods to earn income from the internet. Now I have enough income to buy a gadget, but I would need to find the right one in order to complement my online business activities. I recently found this website called testfreaks which is devoted to electronic gadgets for consumer use.

I find many interesting things available at this website. I even found various iphone reviews which I find very helpful in making my decision on whether to buy an iPod or not. Even though I have already bought a Nokia N73, I feel that I should get another gadget for my entertainment purposes, as the N73 can only do so much. Or maybe I can get it for her.

So should I get an iPod? The reviews seem to indicate that I should. I am still hunting, however.

Ok, so I have an xbox 360 and a ps3. I am getting pretty bored of the Call of Duty series right now. I need a new fresh game or gadget to get me entertained again. I have GTA IV, BFBC:2, Rainbow Six Vegas 2, Every CoD and much more. I also am a YouTube editor/commentator, so maybe a capture card? ( I don’t have a good co near my consoles.) So, what do you guys think? Should I wait? Or is like Homefront a good game maybe?

Over night, for some reason my computer has put a line about an inch and a half away from my right desktop edge. Previously, come of my icons were on that side. They still are, but it seems like there an invisible screen over them and I can’t access them. It’s because of that gadget clear thing. How can I get rid of it? I do use the little notepad from the gadgets. On the top of the invisible side, there’s a “+” thing, but no “-” to get rid of it. When I click on the +, all the other gadgets which I could chose come up. Anyway, how do I get rid of this invisible shield that’s over my icons?

Am I making sense? I hope someone can understand what I’m asking. 😉

      Thanks for any help/tips!

I have read a nuber of reports that say if we shut down every last gadget right now it would make no difference as to the impact of greenhouse gases for another 5 – 10 years and by then most of the damage will have been done

      Ok

That said the truth is for us to cut emmisions – we seem to have to choose Job / planet

How are we going to get past this

No one I know of is going to say oh no cut the gas to the point we can’t sustain our massive oil dependant populations

Prior to the industrial revolution London England was one of the most over populated place on the planet at 50,000 people

Today a small city is 4 million plus

How are we going to manage this

I have Windows Vista, and I just got my computer back from Geek Squad (they broke and replaced my hard drive). When I turned my laptop on, on the right hand side of my desktop, there was a vertical line of “gadgets.” I had a clock, a slideshow, news headlines, etc. Then I changed my background picture and the gadgets disappeared =( How do I get them back????

Wouldn’t it be wiser to wait and see if there are any defects or problems with the hardware before spending hundreds of dollars on it?

People stood in long lines to get an iPhone when it was first available to the public.

If they had simply waited a few months or even a year, the price would have dropped and they would have had the chance to find out if the device has any defects that can or cannot be fixed.

Is it because we live in a society where instant gratification is of the utmost importance or is there another reason?

I didn’t even get my first generation iPod Touch until at least a year after its release and I’m glad I had to wait until my birthday to get it.

I found out that it had a problem with the color black on its screen or something like that.

The iPhone is just an example. I think it cost $300-600 dollars on launch.

I put this question in the “Society & Culture” section because I’m asking about why some people of society feel compelled to buy something the very day it’s available for purchase.

I thought I’d get better answers in this section.

I understand you can connect up to five devices to the palm pre plus. But how fast is that? What would be the limit for internet activities? (online gaming? To what point? Downloading? Netflix? I guess…can it handle any of that stuff?)

I LOVE my microwave. I just hit the “reheat” button when I put leftovers in there and it heats it to the perfect temperature… I just hit the “popcorn” button and it cooks it just right all the way to the last POP. I can make mashed potatoes, (or whatever), and hit the “keep warm” button and it keeps it nice and oven fresh until it’s ready to eat… I could go on and on. I’ve had it for 5 years too so when I got it it was WAY ahead of its time. It’s my baby and I’ll never throw it out. Tee-hee.

Also, is it possible that people are stealing my internet? My computer shows that there is activity when I’m on online and I’m not running any programs like Word or Office. Also, my connection is continually severed every 5 minutes. Is it perhaps a network problem????

i’ll try not to be too emotional here, but recently a judge did some very bad things to me

in summary, my ex was told by her friends that if she accused me of threatening to murder everyone in the house, the cops would come, beat me up; take me to jail and award her custody.

she followed through with this, and many bad things happened (much to my surprise even)

the cops did beat me up. my guns were taken away (just based on the lies of my ex and a restraining order she put on me due to the cops advice)

i was very shocked by all this. i have a spotless record. i have never been convicted of a crime in my life, and i was a nurse (i can no longer work due to the police beating) … yes i did sue the police officer

anyway what i’m more worried about is our rights being trampled on … we are supposed to be “innocent until proven guilty” … we are supposed to have “the right to bare arms” … this judge even tells me, “while we are investigating this you had better not go hunting, unless you want to spend the next 50 years in prison”

and then today i get a note from my car insurance people saying, “if you let us put this monitoring device on your car, we wil give you a 15% discount”

big brother is scaring me, and i fear Obama, and Oregons new governor both want to take away our right to bare arms

thoughts, opinions? am i over reacting to all this? it doesn’t seem right to me
sheeesh i’m starting to regret even asking this question, and i think i shouldn’t have even brought up Obama’s name (i voted for John Kerry a few years ago … ohh and i kinda hate Bush Jr if that scores me any points with anyone lol)

umm but while i’m on a role here .. does anyone know of a country left on earth that has a better “right to bear arms policy” atm where i could possibly move to?
