Gifts for Father’s Day

Posted on Friday, May 18th 2007 3:30 am by menj in Offbeat

Father’s Day is that one special day where we appreciate our fathers and want to show how much we love him. I would need to think of something special to get for my father. With the money that I have earned, I am sure that I could afford him a gift or two. What shall I buy, another golf set? Or should I get him a tie? Those things are too common. I think I know what I will buy, I saw these special Fathers Day Gift Baskets and I think this would be an excellent choice. The baskets come with nice teddy bears and goodies, prices are a bit steep but I don’t think that should be a problem.

I will certainly get him one. I am sure that he will like it on occassion of Father’s Day.

I’m 16 and I wanted to get my dad something for Father’s Day that he’ll really like. The problem is, he’s really picky. I’m definitely going to make him a card, but I can’t think of what to buy him. I have no idea what tools he already has and what he needs. Plus for clothes, I don’t know what size he wears and it has to be made of a certain material and everything. He’s so hard to shop for! I was considering just getting him a gift card, but to where?

      Thanks in advance! 🙂

This will be my husbands first Father’s Day and I am having trouble on what to get him. I have an idea on a Genesis GMT15A Multi-Purpose Oscillating Tool. I know he will love it he has been wanting one for so long but is that an okay gift for Father’s Day? Any other ideas would be great!!

It’s my husband’s first Father’s Day and he’s going to be gone. I want to send him a special package with goodies. I was going to do a flat rate box that ships in 2-3 days. Any ideas on what to put in the box that might ship well? I am thinking oatmeal cookies, coconut macaroons, pictures, or a picture frame. Do you have any other good ideas? He loves food, beer, etc., typical man stuff.

Ok, heres my idea i plan to get a boxs of white fake rose pedals and in black permanent marker write love massages on them, make an invitation for my hubby that hes invited to a party just for the two of us and leave it in his lunch box that morning and when he gets home there will be instuctions on the door to follow the rose pedals and at the end will be a nude pic or a paper telling him what im going to do then the pedals will lead to the bathroom where every thing for his shower is waiting for him, then right on the outside of the door i will put a gift basket for him of things that will remind him of when we first go together while hes in the shower then another rose pedal trail that leads him back to the living room where i will be waiting with a sheet on the floor and two chairs in the middle of it one for him to sit in and the other as a prop to give him a strip tease. any suggestions to improve it and how to word the invatation.
would any of you like it if your g/f or b/f did that for you
oh, yes my child will be in bed, he gets home late

I can’t think of anything and am stumped at what to do for these men…it just needs to be a little “happy” but nice and thoughtful at the same time.

I’m putting together a first time Father’s Day gift basket for my husband since I’m pregnant with my first. But I’m short on ideas…any help? So far I have a couple of onesies he’ll appreciate, but that’s it.

He’s in medical school, a sports fan, and he camps and kayaks.

I have a website set up it’s not great but it will do for now. I handed out alot of flyer’s for father;s Day and have got nothing so far. My website is giftsfromgracie.com if anyone can tell me how to improve it to get more sales that would be great. I also will be taking credit cards soon instead of pay-pal.

Jared earns money by making gift baskets for fathers day. He does one basket filled with finishing supplies and another basket with a sports fan theme, He makes a profit of $9.00 on the finishing Supply basket and a profit of $12.50 on the sports fan basket. He only has time to make 100 baskets and needs to earn at least $1,000 to Cover his summer activities.

Which solution satisfies the system of inequalities?

      a) 73 finishing baskets and 27 sports fan baskets
      b) 70 finishing baskets and 30 sports fan baskets
      c) 75 finishing baskets and 25 sports fan baskets
      d) 72 finishing baskets and 28 sports fan baskets

      ty in advance.
      easy points or best answer!

The catch is it’s all shredded and worthless. I’m thinking of getting this novelty gift from the U S Treasury for a Father’s day gift.

I work at a floralshop/wedding planning agency. My boss has agreed to help me design my father a really nice giftbasket full of stuff he loves for christmas. Problem is, I have no idea of what to buy him to put in the gift basket. Hes very hard to buy for, but I do not want to get him a giftcard. I got my mother small things for her giftbasket, plus a spa day. I would like to make a “dad version of my mothers gift”

I really need gift ideas for father’s day! If anyone could give me like a general list or what they’re getting their father that would be great! And also my dad just bought a new car so I wanna also get him something good for his new car, like air fresheners or a car wash kit but that’s all I can think of. All ideas/gifts are a help! Thanks

I have only met his son in passing in public places where we have run into one another and his son doesn’t really know we are dating. I think it is great we keep it that way to protect us all for the time being; however I do want to do something for him because he is a great father. What do you recommend as a gift? I was thinking something the two of them can do together, but I a looking for some ideas?
