Google Adsense payments via Western Union

Posted on Monday, October 1st 2007 4:19 am by menj in PPC

I know that I’ve been a really bad boy and not been paying attention to my Google Adsense earnings as of late. Oh yes, I still get payments from Google but certainly not as much as it was during the time when I was focusing my attention on it and at its peak. Mostly its because I get discouraged with the payment systems via cheque which is troublesome for this part of the world I am living in. Not only do I have to wait for a long time for those cheques to arrive, I also have to wait for them to clear at the local bank (takes a whole bloody month, would you believe it?). Plus, after the bank dip their beaks into the money, there isn’t much leftover for me to save or spend.

However today, I got a pleasant surprise in my Google Adsense control panel. Finally the alternative payment, i.e. Western Union, is made available for users.

Western Union payment is almost instant and it certainly avoids the hefty bank charges associated with the cheques. No prizes for guessing which option I chose after I saw that it was available.

When I closed my account, I received an email from Google Adsense that I will receive payment within 90 days. I have $60+ there before I closed it and chose to be paid via Western Union. I read that I’m supposed to get an email including the control number to receive my payment. I already posted on the Adsense forum but never received any replies.

Thanks, but it said that when you close your account, you only need a minimum of $10 to get paid. (?)

I’m living in Peru, so my country set in my account setting is Peru. I’ll receive my adsense payment next month via Western Union (about 25th to 27th of November). But on November 24th, I have to move to Vietnam to live and do not return to Peru any more. I want to change my country to Vietnam to make sure that I can receive my payment in my new place. But Google do not allow to change country to Vietnam. So I can’t change my country from Peru to Vietnam and I also can’t close my account to open a new one because my payment next month amount is very large (about more than $2154). And nothing to make sure that Google will approve my new account with country is Vietnam after I closed my current account.

So I’m very worry. Can I receive my payment in Vietnam’s banks? If no,can you tell me what I should do to receive my payment?

What fraction of users that visit a web site with Google AdSense actually click on the ads?

How often does Google Pay out– do they send you a check or do they use paypal?

Which is better Google AdSense or Yahoo ads?

Any other advice for Google AdSense?

I probably won’t make a fortune, but I have a new site going up soon. Thought I might as well try to make a few cents on it.

Thanks for any and all replies… I do check back for answers, so I appreciate you taking the time to read and reply.

I have a few blogs and they all have Google Adsense ads on them… I am making a few bucks each day and I want to know which site is generating those clicks so I can see what I need to improve. I have about 9 ads total (3 for each site) but can’t figure out how to get the detailed information I need on which site is getting the most clicks, etc. Thanks!

I have recently started looking into Google Adsense as a possible way to make a little money off of a website. And I am just wondering what would stop an Adsense subscriber from clicking his own advertisements on his own website in order to generate revenue? Have I found a loophole in the program? Should I contact Google about it?

So tonight I signed up for google adsense through my blog on blogger. Google added the ads to my blog but said that the ads are just text ads for at least 48 hours while my account is being processed. I went to my blog to check out the ads and they weren’t there. I asked my sister to check out my blog on her computer and the ads didn’t show up on the blog. Why won’t they show up?

I have a blog, and am using Google Adsense. I have increased traffic and have several hundred clicks. However, it seems that the estimated earnings is not going up. Do I have to wait till a certain time of the day to see and increase or is should it be as it goes?

How can I cancel my google adsense account and start all over with different name but the same web site? It’s all because I’ve had this google adsense account for more than 2 years and the traffic to my website is quite good, but I only earn US$0.00!! I suspect I’ve missed something at the registration process therefore I’d like to cancel it and start all over again. But how could I do that?

i know that that google adsense forbids us writers from using advertisements to promote our articles. However, where I write there are tons of writers who put a link to their other articles at the end of their new articles. On that site, we are paid through google adsense. so i am wondering whether what the writers are doing can be seen as advertising their articles. by the way, the site we write for does allow placing such links under new articles.

I understand that Adsense does not send payments via Paypal. It appears that they only post checks.

Rather than give my personal home address, can I just submit my bank’s address so that the payment goes there directly for deposit?

      Ideas?

Also, if there is a customer service number for Adsense, please advise. Can’t find one.

      Thanks.
