Great mobile content

The wireless telecommunication service industry is a competitive arena where user needs and wants are always attended to, and companies in this industry niche will always scramble to offer the latest mobile package with attractive features for users to subscribe their service to them. Not many of these companies has the relevant industry experience to deliver a full array of value-added telecommunication service which strengthen the market position of its customers across the United States.

However, the exception to this trend certainly goes to InPhonic, a well-known service provider of great deals on cellphones and cellphone plans and owner of Wirefly. Now InPhonic and WeatherBug is better-geared towards serving its customers, with their agreement with Weatherbug for mobile weather content. As a mobile content user myself, I’ve always been interested in features such as news alerts to update me of the latest world and business news, as well as ringtones to complement my arsenal of mobile alert music. A horoscope service would be a great addition as well. With InPhonic, their experience in providing communication services to users of wireless devices would enable them to offer various mobile content, including Wirefly ringtones, to my cellphone as well.

    1. I’ve connected the phone to the computer using the USB port and it says it’s connected, have the PC Suite installed as well, but when I click “Contents” in the PC Suite, an error message comes up that says “Fail to connect to the mobile handset, Please check the COM port and connect in idle screen. Due to the multifunction, despite idle screen, it can be failed to connect.”

If you can help, that’d be great + thanks in advance. 🙂

    2. I used to call Jamaica for $39.95 monthly and I get unlimited calling. The service is no longer available through the company and I make lots of calls to Jamaica. Does anyone know if there is such a service anymore?

    3. I’m going to be travelling to France quite a lot over the next few months, and instead of paying huge international charges to access the internet from my phone I’d like to purchase a French sim card that I could top up with credit whenever I’m over there.

Preferably I’d like to find one that I could get a pre paid internet “add on” for, similar to the ones you can get on most of the UK networks now (usually £5 for a month’s unlimited access).

Here’s an example of the pre paid internet adds on I mean, from the network I use in the UK:

Does anybody know of any French networks that offer this service?

    4. Is This Dress Appropriate To Wear To My Great Grandparents’ Anniversary Party?

Saturday, is my great grandparents’ anniversary party. There will be food, a deejay, and my great grandparent’s (they’re my grandpa’s parents) are going to renew their wedding vows. Is this dress fine to wear to the anniversary party?

Here’s some pics of the dress:

It’s longer than it looks, it’s about 1 1/2 to 2 inches above my knees. I found the dress on sale for $39.95 at JC Penney. I have a black shoulder bolero in my closet that goes really well with the dress.

What do you think of the dress? I’m 14 years old by the way.

It’s not too dressy or prom-ish? And what shoes should I wear with the dress? Links will be greatly appreciated! :o)

I’ve never been to an anniversary party, so I don’t really know what I’m supposed to wear to one.

My mom and aunt think it looks fine, but I’m thinking it’s a little too dressy? They don’t think so.

    7. Hello everyone,
I just recently purchased the T-Mobile Dash which runs Windows Mobile 5. T-Mobile’s t-zone entertainment catalog is not sophisticated enough for the smartphones, so I can no longer download content directly from T-Mobile. I am unsure where to find good applications/games/etc for the phone. Can anyone suggest any sites? (Free preffered, but any suggestions would be great!)
      Thanks,
      Matt G
The two sites I was reccommended were very mediocre. They were not what I was looking for. To reiterate my point, I have Windows Mobile 5 and I am looking for superb/great software (including applications and games).

    10. My company got a longterm mechanical electrical installation contract from GSM telecommunication Provider. Now I am looking for other company to be partnership in fullfil the contract

    11. Hi everyone, I just moved to the Caribbean and where I live there are two providers of telecommunications. These are the United Telecommunications Services (UTS) and Digicel. I was wondering do you guys have experience with one of these providers? Which one should I choose and why? Since I need to buy a mobile phone, but do not have any experience with the providers. Thank you very much!

    12. Please help me improve my writing style to be more engaging and interesting. Do point out grammatical errors and outdated writing style as well. Thanks a lot in advance.

      Here it is:

Walk around malls today and you’ll discover that Internet TV is now here. Appliance stores showcase a Sony TV with Internet capability using Google’s Android Operating system. Recently, Steve Jobs’ biography reveals that one of his visions is to revolutionize the TV the way he did the computer, the music player, and the mobile phone. Specifically, Jobs wanted iPhone, iPad, MacBook, and iPod to be seamlessly connected to the TV. He wanted it simple, elegant, and, ofcourse, luxurious. You can watch videos stored in your iPad or MacBook, listen to music in your iPod’s iTunes, while your AppleTV is connected to a set of wireless speakers.

It is exciting how this idea will change how watching TV is done. It’s interesting how Internet providers will adapt to this technology. Needless to say, to watch videos on Internet TV, you will need a speedy connection. Otherwise, you will just get impatient waiting for the video stream to finish buffering content.

Apple TV only lets you buy movies from Netflix or from apple store. You can watch it on any TV that can be hooked up to the apple TV box. Or, you can by a big ass Apple LCD and hook your apple TV box to it. How will Apple redefine how TV viewing is done? For now, the technology that is here is Google TV; which is what Sony has running underneath their device.

      Upside

You can hook up Cable, Satellite, DVD, HD DVD, Xbox, and other gaming consoles to Sony’s Google TV the same way these devices can be hooked up to a regular TV. You can pull up multiple screens in case you need to read about a topic or tweet about a movie you’re watching. Well, you can do that better by having your mobile device, netbook, or tablet while you watch; seemingly less complicated than pushing lots of controls to do the same. But it would be entirely different if Google TV automatically knows and adds the channel, cable provider, and the movie that I am watching. Example, you are watching CNN’s “Revealed” feature of Mr. Arroyo or Manny Pacquio, and wanted to tweet about it and post it to your wall. If Google TV already adds the excerpt and the link or channel to your tweet, it would be real sweet, won’t it? For now, Google TV doesn’t do that yet. That is something they will have to work out. People would rather tweet using their phones or laptops than fiddle with the remote’s tiny qwerty keyboard.

Another upside is you can Google and look at maps using my TV. No GPS on the TV set, there’s very little use for it; but Google TV knows your location based on your Internet connection.

A map on the TV is great; you can look up the world while watching a feature of Rome’s conquests. You can even search the net while watching; check out Wikipedia, or check out the name of Bond’s new leading lady.

A lot of men get caught in the couch watching TV about 20-30 hours per week; about four hours or more a day; maybe even more on Sundays. While watching, your mind flies around lot’s of topics and interests from book titles, to food, to gadgets.

One of the features that is lacking in Google TV as of now is an Applications Store. The convergence of TV and the Internet will make online stores more profitable. Imagine this: People’s interest is spiked by a commercial, a link is shown at the bottom to fire up an application developed for your online store. The Application saves your credit card information and delivery address so you can buy with least resistance. The Application showcases your products neatly and can be tiled, sorted, reviewed, etc. Much like Amazon but is inside a Google TV App that can be downloaded for free. Here is an opportunity for the neophyte pinoy entrepreneur; quite a new business idea, because this effectively creates a new market that anyone can tap into. You can sell gadgets from any store, hire a logistics service from XEND or DHL, get a payment gateway from BDO or any other merchant and you have your own store that’s on GoogleTV. Post a few blog reviews, some product sites elsewhere, participate in 2 or 3 forums and you get quite a good ranking in Google.com’s Philippine site searches. You can be the next millionaire without spending too much because you can get products on consignment.

Thank you for your advice, “The Solitary Sinner”. You are correct, I grew up in asia. I really really wanted to improve my writing skills but I just do not know where to start. Based on your advice, I guess I will start with getting myself more familiar with the tenses, and idioms; and know when it’s perfect to use them. Do you have any more advice?

Sorry I had to extend the question. I couldn’t find a reply button here; I’ve been looking since the other day.

    13. Varya Akulova is the Strongest girl in the world she has is capable of lifting 350 kgs. but shes very skinny and she’s looks no different from a sports girl and doesn’t look bad herself. Varya’s muscles are barely visible but she has tremendous will-power, translucent body and thread-like tendons. Varya’s great grandfather in the 1910’s carried a giant weight on his back, about 2,600 lbs (1,200 kilograms) when she was 9 she could lift her whole family on her back.

Varya by age six was strong enough to carry her father on her back and was winning at weightlifting events. She could easily lift two heavy kettlebells off the ground. she is 5 ft 9 in height.

    15. I received an email from A C Nielsen Mobile to participate in a study concerning telecommunications. Deal is they want me to provide my account / password for cell/home line/directv/ internet. I am hesitant to give out this information, but I would like to know others who have been involved in the Nielsen Mobile studies.
I contacted A C Nielsen and found that this was legitimate company and a legitimate opportunity. It just wasn’t for me.

    16. I just uploaded a video on YouTube for my idol’s birthday:
      http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=5oRXMkt37tw

And on the video I got a message saying Matched Third Party Content. I did some research and it says that it has copyright issues. But I don’t know why I have a copyright issue if I didn’t steal or use anything illegal. All I wanted to do was select Syndication so I can make the video avaliable to view on mobile devices. Now it won’t let me view my video on mobile devices, and it won’t let me change the syndication option. If anyone can help me, that’d be great!!

    17. Tell me if you have ever noticed and how you feel about it. Although the US has its trends mostly from Great Britain I believe few of us have ever taken a proper look at US army heritage. When you look at the camouflage and training style its clear to see that Colonel George S. Pappas modeled the army on African San and Kung tribes warrior tribes This is distinct in the clothing and general training style of the US military especially its special forces. However given it is true that ALL US tactical and strategic warfare secrets come from the San and Kung tribes are they applicable today? Will the old Gaurangi war tactics which lay key to defeating Imperial Japan and Germany help us today as they did in the 1940s? And if not, without the wisdom of the African war mind where should the commander and chief turn to? Is Obama president because we need his African input for victory? What do you think? Where do you see the future?

Note: See here the US army head gear http://www.usmilitary.com/wp-c.....areers.jpg and the San and Kung tribes head gear http://farm1.static.flickr.com.....66b685.jpg you will notice how America took this heritage and how its part of the US military culture.
