Anyone who has been involved in building and developing websites online knows that one can make a profit from buying and selling websites. Selling a Website, however, requires that you take into account several important things before you decide to pitch your website to a buyer for a sale.
The first step you should undertake is to get a Website Valuation. After that, all you need to do is to weave in your personal touch in your sales message. Nobody wants to be sold to by a total stranger, but many people will buy after seeing a strong recommendation to them. If you can convince your audience that you are a personal friend who has their best interest at heart, they will be convinced to buy your website. Website due diligence must always be kept into mind.
You should also publish testimonials and comments from your customers after every website sale. A good idea would be to publish both good and bad comments; that way prospects will be really convinced that these testimonials are real. When prospects see the testimonials of your past successes, they will have the confidence to buy from you because human beings follow the herd mentality. When others have bought and proven it authentic, they will jump on the bandwagon and buy websites from you as well.

So I decided last night that it was the time for me to withdraw my PayPal funds via the bank facility that they have provided. In case you didn’t know already, PayPal has now allowed direct withdrawal of funds to Malaysian banks. However, I noticed that the exchange rate for RM from USD in the PayPal system is significantly lower than the current currency exchange market rate.
Here is the currency rate as determined by PayPal when I used their internal currency converter from USD to RM.

When I first started my online venture, I did get a lot of flak offline and online. Many people I met were actually skeptical that I would get involved into something which is not really recognised as a (traditional) “job”. Several moronic bloggers (whom I shall not name here) even blatantly chastised me publicly by saying that this is an euphemism for being “jobless”. Of course, what they do not know is that I was not “forced” into starting up my ventures online due to unemployment or anything of the sort. I chose to do what I did because I really wanted to do it. I certainly cannot imagine myself sitting at a desk from 9 AM to 4 PM like an office drone (think Hiro Nakamura of Heroes fame) or take orders from someone who looks down on you just because she thinks you build websites as a “hobby”.
Well, I have proved all the skeptics wrong and I am still doing my online business today, since having started it in mid-2006. I even bought Project Petaling Street in early 2009 with the money I earned from my internet ventures and am currently consolidating it with other services such as my free URL shortener. Here is the latest screenshot of my earnings from PayPal for February 2010, thanks to my online ventures (its not limited to blogging only).

Many people exertion to the Pay-Per-Click (PPC) technique, just to detect that whenever they don’t use this technique properly, and don’t convince, they’re misplacing profit every day. For instance, whenever you’re commercializing an electronic product, such as an eBook, or program download, and your commission on the sale of an exclusive item is $30 but your unable PPC campaign burns through more than $30 in clicks per day, you’re not doing too well. At this charge per unit, in 3 days you’ll be belt down $90 and have to betray three points to just break-even, which turns hopeless due to the cycle that has set out.

Yes, I have returned to Blogging For Money again and I have plans to revive this blog again from its slumber. The last time I blogged here was four months ago, before I became preoccupied with the various blog niche projects that I started around that time. Since then, I could safely say that my earnings have increased a lot, especially as of late when I started putting Google Adsense in these niche blogs after the last PageRank update. Having to pay attention to these blogs mean that I had to abandon some existing blogs, and this blog was unfortunately one of the “victims”.
