Hurrah, I got my TLA payment via PayPal. And I just checked my Google Adsense account and for the first time in two years, I no longer have to wait for 2 weeks to receive a cheque and another month for it to clear, as they have now assigned me a MCTN number via Western Union Quick Cash service. I’ll be picking that up on Monday.
Both totals combined, I have earned roughly around RM700 for November, and that’s not including the balance from other money-making activities that I generate from the Internet.

Some months ago, an arrogant (and dare I say, asshole) blogger whom I am loathe to name once referred to yours truly as “that unemployed blogger”. I’ve been waiting for the right time to buy this so when I was at Gurney Plaza on Sunday (and it so happens that on the same day, my old Nokia 1110 failed on me), I decided to snap this up at RM1.3K + RM99 for the 1GB miniSD flash card.
Now here is my new toy.

I don’t think “unemployed” people can afford this tool anyway. So here’s my middle finger showing at that aforementioned blogger whom I am loathe to name. Hah!

I was a bit apprehensive about this new way of withdrawal from PayPal to the Visa debit card will work but Malcolm has confirmed that this does work. I was unable to test this for myself since I did not receive my PIN number for my Visa debit card and have reported that issue to the customer service, who promptly decided to cancel my old card and send me a new one with PIN (which will only be available on Wednesday). So it is good to know that this form of withdrawing your funds from PayPal really does work.
Where yours truly is concerned, I now have two methods of withdrawal from PayPal: my VMI card and my PBB Visa debit card.

This should be good news for a majority of Malaysian PayPal account holders who do not have the VMI card in order to withdraw their funds from PayPal without printing anything. It seems that PayPal has now allowed Malaysians to withdraw their funds from their PayPal accounts directly to their credit/debit card with the appearance of a second option in the “Withdraw” options menu, although the process will take between 5 to 7 days and a fee of USD5 will be charged.

I know that I’ve been a really bad boy and not been paying attention to my Google Adsense earnings as of late. Oh yes, I still get payments from Google but certainly not as much as it was during the time when I was focusing my attention on it and at its peak. Mostly its because I get discouraged with the payment systems via cheque which is troublesome for this part of the world I am living in. Not only do I have to wait for a long time for those cheques to arrive, I also have to wait for them to clear at the local bank (takes a whole bloody month, would you believe it?). Plus, after the bank dip their beaks into the money, there isn’t much leftover for me to save or spend.

I will be out of town for two days (specifically: going to Muar and Pontian), so this blog will not be updated during that duration. In the meantime, here’s something which I set up only today.
VCTech Network
Let me know if you like it. Yeah, that will also teach those who have labelled me “an unemployed problogger” (a very ludicrous oxymoron if I haven’t seen one before already) a thing or two. Who dare says that I am “unemployed” now?
