Making money bloggers meet at Jusco Balakong

Somehow I managed to make it to Starbucks at Jusco Balakong last Saturday to meet up with fellow money-making bloggers, Louiss, Michael Woo and Ricko Liew. We discused many things ranging from blogging to SEO to how to withdraw from PayPal (even some bad experiences with PayPal…heh!) and our core business online. It was really a great meeting of minds and I really enjoyed it. I hope there will be another meet in the future, with even more members I hope 🙂

    1. I am a teenager and I just made a paypal account and I don’t have a bank account or a credit card. I have a website that gives free money and I have enough money to redeem it on paypal. I want to use paypal to buy things from ebay but to do that I have to verify my paypal account. Is their anyway to verify it without having a bank or credit card. I need it really badly please help me out.

    2. Paypal’s moneymarket interest rate is around 5% right now, which is competitive, if not just better than, local savings and cd rates. My temptation is to use paypal as a place to store some savings, like up to $8000 over the next year or so. I’m curious if others are doing the same? Are there any reasons not to? It’s still relatively liquid, right?

    3. I’ve been working at Starbucks in my hometown now for almost 8 months but I’m going away to school in August. There is a starbucks about 6-10 minutes away from the university that I would love to transfer to.

Are there any special regulations about transferring, such as age and how long you’ve been working there? I’ll have been working there over a year when I want to transfer.

    4. I applied at Starbucks on the application it ask if I can work 30 to 40 hours a week. However I hear that Starbucks only does part time, is this true? I really need full time hours or almost full time like 35 to almost 40 hours, the more the better. Also do they get tips, and what are the benefits. I hear they get free drinks and coffee. Do they also get free food, like the sandwiches they make, and brownies? I like their sandwiches.

    5. So I bought something on ebay but I wasn’t satisfied with my purchase so I returned it. I just got an email stating that my payment has been refunded through Paypal and was given the receipt number and everything. But the problem is, I don’t even have a Paypal account! So I decided to make a Paypal account but now I don’t know what to do to put the money in there because my balance still says $0.00. Can someone help me please?

    7. I have all the ingredients, starbucks coffee, starbucks classic syrup, and half n half. But when I make one, it just don’t taste the same. I’m not sure if I’m brewing the coffee wrong or what. If any one works at starbucks please, please let me know exactly how to do it. I know it can’t be too difficult or complicated, it’s just iced coffee, but the starbucks iced coffee is sooo good! But expensive! Lol thanks in advance for any input on this

    8. I’ve had hot chocolate way too many times, and they only have Starbucks where I live (weird, I know).

Do chai lattes have coffee? I like tea, just not coffee.
And please don’t scold me for only going to Starbucks, it’s all they have here, and I don’t wanna make stuff myself, Starbucks is close and on the way.

    9. Can a four months expired starbucks whole bean coffee still be roasted or used for a drink, and is it alright and not harmful?

    10. Question to Starbucks employees only.

How is the Starbucks brewed iced coffee made?

Do you pre-make the coffee in advance like Mcdonalds and Burgerking? Or do you add ice to hot coffee?

    11. Some publishers that wanted to publish my books only accept and pay with paypal. I tired to open paypal account as a Niegria but met the hurdle of rejections. Please, what can I do?

    12. I’ve calculated the ROI and found that starbucks has about 12% in 2007 and 2006. I was just wondering if that is good for potential investors planning to invest in starbucks.

    13. I have the Starbucks app on my iPhone and once you get 5 stars, you get select syrups and milk on the house. But I feel like it’s just a lot of extra work to explain that you get certain stuff free. How do you tell them what you get free and when should you tell them? Or do you not even need to show them the stars on your phone because your card automatically knows to discount?

    14. I have recently lost my credit card and requested a new card from Chase. I received the new card and planned to transfer some Paypal balance to my bank account. However, thanks to my incredible misfortune, Paypal has decided to perform a random security check on my account, and asks for the bank account number from my previous card. Sadly, I did not bother to remember the number, so now I am locked out of my paypal with quite a lot of money in it. Can anyone help?

    15. I have heard about Paypal account but do not know anything about it. What is a paypal account? Some say that they take up some charges for transaction. Is it true? If so, how many dollars do they deduct for a 100 dollars payment. Kindly explain in detail. Practical experiences most welcome.

    16. I heard after you get like $500, paypal sends you tax papers? Is that true and is it after 500 or more that they will send you the tax papers. Thanks for your answers.
