Nuffnang versus Advertlets

Posted on Monday, April 2nd 2007 10:46 am by menj in Offbeat

Here is actually a good review of Nuffnang versus Advertlets, so if you want to have a comparison review between the two, just read that post. I am not sure whether it was totally a coincidence that both companies were launched several days apart from each other in the same month, but oh, well.

And in case you are wondering, I am sticking to Nuffnang at the moment as the official blog advertising network of Kerajaan MENJ (believe me, its a steadily growing empire). The ads in Advertlets may be AJAX-ified and all, but I really do not see anything in there apart from a poll. Maybe I’ll be inclined to put up Advertlets in one or two blogs once they start to roll out their advertising.

Nuffnang asks an IC. Number. We don’t have it here but I got my SS number available.

I heard that WordPress does not allow ads. But my current account in WordPress is just free. Should I upgrade?

My site has mainly audio content. Because Google Adsense serves ads based on text content, the ads are based on the title of my page. I need an ad network that will let me choose ads based on what they sell (i.e. headphones, mp3 players, etc).

Just added Nuffnang to my blog yesterday.
      Membership status : Glitterati.
      Skyscraper: 3 stars
It was a poll. Many people did the poll. There was no notification about incoming CPM advertisements. Then when will there be ads and when will I earn money?

They have just spread the seed for the next nightmare in some kids head.

Do you think they hard time deciding if they
      should make the blood money?

Are they supporting these school terrorist acts by “advertising this manifesto” to the youth of America?

What do people think of Asian girls who dye their hair blonde and wear contact lenses? Honestly I think their trying to be something they’re not. Wearing specific BLUE contacts and dying your hair platinum BLONDE is not something Asian girls naturally possess, this is a European trait. So of course doing everything in your power to look a certain way which is associated with a race obviously means she trying so hard to be white.
Oh and surprise surprise she has a WHITE boyfriend and she lives in Singapore…
This is just embarrassing, it makes me want to puke when I see a fellow Asian trying to hard to be something they’re not.

      So what do you think?

My girlfriend and I live together and believe our neighbors are using our wireless network. We have a Blitzz router. Is there any relatively easy way to set up a password on this wireless network, so that only my girlfriend and I can access it?
Also, the router we have was given to us by a friend, so I don’t think we have the book or cd (or whatever), or at least we have no idea where it is. Is there a way to do it without those things?

I know this varies significantly depending on the business. But I am looking for a general cost of what most CPAs charge to help you set up your initial books.

This is for an online business, with only about 2-3 sources of revenue (from advertising networks), and expenses such as marketing, hosting, domains, etc.

Any estimates of what they would charge to setup quickbooks or an accounting system? Also, how much to update it?

I live in northeast TN. Thanks!

How do the advertising companies find out about websites, because much of the income from a website are the advertisements.

The network is free to participate in. I am not making any money from it, at this very early point, and I am seriously considering doing it *without* money, that is, in the spirit of giving something back to the community. To that end, I won’t ever charge for membership, and I also won’t ever allow discrimination. I’m running it now on a free website, and of course that site puts a handful of google text ads on the homepage in one column, but that’s all. I want to create a safe space where no one will try to “sell” anything to the patient, and where seriously ill medical patients can hook up with each other and strengthen community. Oh, and did I mention? I need free and/or *very* low cost ways to promote membership!

For an advertising network going through a merger, approx. 600 employees located in several countries.

2nd question : Would it be the same consultants that are carrying out the mission at the company’s HQ that would eventually go to the international branches as well?

I ahve used them in the past, you write a check and they hold it till alter and give you the cash, but it was many moons ago and finally got a second job, but never saw them advertise on national networks, so it must be getting bad.

I’ve got a great programme that I’ve joined that’s making me about $2,500 a week.

However I’d like to increase my income by advertising in the US market as well to my site. I’m currently travelling on business and as such don’t have much time do check up on this.

For further details, you can check out the website at:

Any of you got any ideas how I can go about advertising for my online home based business?

Any ideas would be good such as online or other channels but please give me links to which avenues I can use.

      Thank you Very Much!

I want to grow 15-20% this year. How much would I have to increase my exisiting advertising budget of $2000.00 per month. This is my print or yellow page advertising. I do internet advertising, local stuff, networking group (BNI), my vehicles are decaled and logo’ed, and I have a website. What else is there?
I own a pest control company in NJ. I have been in business for 6 years.
