Or more specifically, it is Movable Type 4 which is going open source. Currently you can download the beta version of this software for evaluation purposes. I used to have MT powering my blog, back in the days when MT was given away for free. When it became too spammy to tolerate, I switched to WordPress and have been with WP ever since. I doubt that I would be switching back to MT as WP has not only features and plugins to bend it to your will, but great support and a wide variety of themes to choose from.
Seriously, who in their right mind would want to switch away from WP anyway?

I got two Blogitive payments sent to my PayPal today
Since the implementation of their new programme, I noticed that they are no longer sending eChecks and no PayPal fees were deducted from the payments. So instead of $4.00 something (with PayPal fees deducted), you get the full $5.00 for every post instead. Yay!
Plus, I’ve been getting so many offers from Blogitive that I am swamped with them. Good, right? Not really. It means that I am going to have to plan properly and organise the time needed to tackle each job offer provided.
But I’m really happy with these new developments. I’m raking in about $120.00 per week just from Blogitive alone.

The wireless telecommunication service industry is a competitive arena where user needs and wants are always attended to, and companies in this industry niche will always scramble to offer the latest mobile package with attractive features for users to subscribe their service to them. Not many of these companies has the relevant industry experience to deliver a full array of value-added telecommunication service which strengthen the market position of its customers across the United States.
However, the exception to this trend certainly goes to InPhonic, a well-known service provider of great deals on cellphones and cellphone plans and owner of Wirefly. Now InPhonic and WeatherBug is better-geared towards serving its customers, with their agreement with Weatherbug for mobile weather content. As a mobile content user myself, I’ve always been interested in features such as news alerts to update me of the latest world and business news, as well as ringtones to complement my arsenal of mobile alert music. A horoscope service would be a great addition as well. With InPhonic, their experience in providing communication services to users of wireless devices would enable them to offer various mobile content, including Wirefly ringtones, to my cellphone as well.

For the first time, at least five of my websites/blogs has been filled with ads in their Nuffnang slots, including this one. This came as a pleasant surprise, I certainly did not expect it. My mistake was that I put up the large rectangle on only two of my sites
Time to expand on that, I guess. I won’t know how much I am earning from these slew of ads until the end of the week, so I guess I would have to wait. I have a feeling that the RM22 short of getting my first Nuffnang cheque is going to be covered….

Seems to be that “Advertlertshing” (Advertisement Alerts Bashing…yeah, I made the term up) has suddenly become a popular fad in the Malaysian blogosphere. You can easily see that from the numerous pings in PPS on that topic. Sure does look like fun…
Seriously, however, I think I should reserve my opinion about them because I have never put up any of their codes in my Kerajaan MENJ list. And I don’t have any reason to do so. As one may see, Nuffnang is the official blog advertising partner of the Kerajaan MENJ network. Let’s just say that when I first came to knew of them on that fateful morning (when I saw their ad in a Google Adsense advert in Rojak’s Daily), something inside my head tells me that they will become big. I mean big.
Its either that, or maybe its because I find that the blue background with the funny stickman intriguing and very Web 2.0-ish.

Yet another surprise in my inbox for me after the unexpected one yesterday….AuctionAds decided to pay me!

The earnings came from another website of mine which was using Amazon Omaske previously before I replaced it with AuctionAds. The reason I did that was because Amazon Omaske was showing a lot of anti-Islam book titles (yeah, it was on an Islamic website) with no way of filtering them out. With AuctionAds, all I did was to put in keywords related to the website content and voila! All relevant products came out. That must have been the reason why I’ve managed to secure these earnings.
Money seem to be dropping out from the sky onto my lap these past few days
Let’s hope this good run will continue.
