Blogging For Money

So along with the Google Adsense cheque, I found my refund cheque from the previous web host which I have cancelled my semi-dedicated hosting account with. Here it is.

The refund amount is for three months, I’ve already used the previous three months Ah, if only I knew about DataKL Hosting earlier…

Yet again, Google has been kind enough to send me a cheque as payment for serving their ads on my little online empire. Its great to be with Google all these months since February 2005 and the benefits have been enormous. It makes blogging a well-earned effort.

Now watch as I gloat and laugh all the way to the bank.

I can earn money through Google. So can you.

I am not sure what is going on, but the 1K posts that PayPerPost had promised are not showing up. Either they have a technical issue at their end which they have not resolved which blocked these offers from appearing, or perhaps I was too dense to notice them and people have already grabbed them before I could say, “Ittaqullah!“.

Heh.

Nuffnang was down for a few minutes at around 10.20 pm, April 9th — but was back up again for their new look. They finally got rid of the Flash interface which was a bit troublesome for me (and besides, its not good for SEO purposes anyway). I like the new design but I personally feel that the models used are a bit too un-Asian, not to mention un-Malaysian. They should have them replaced.

But that may just be me.

Anyway, I like this new design and it seems they have a blog too. They should however change the current blog design to a more customised look, as all they are using is actually a modified banner for Kubrick (which is the default WordPress theme). But this new design has potential, no doubt about it.

Well there is no doubt that the investment in a web directory of mine is certainly paying itself now. Already I have been getting a steady amount of payments for my PR3 web directory, and the phpLD script which I had paid for $25 as well as the customised template for $170 (prices are in US dollars, by the way) has certainly paid itself off…and with a small profit margin too

I am hoping that the web directory will have a higher PR in the next Google update, at the very least a PR5. It would certainly be ridiculous if all the hard work and effort in building up links to the web directory did not pay off. With a higher PR, I can certainly mark up the prices for the links.

In case you were wondering, he was talking about the latest Samsung 22″ LCD screen.
