Google have now officially announced that they have opened their goo.gl URL shortener as a public service to all users. Previously, the goo.gl service was only used internally for Google-related links and can be generated only from the Google toolbar or any service from Google. Now that Google has opened up their service, this is yet a new addition to their range of online internet products.
Personally, I believe that this is a testament to the fact that URL shorteners are not going away anytime soon and Google recognises the fact that such a service is needed for users to share links in a more convenient and memorable way. As it is, I did start my own online URL shortener service sometime last year, and it is still going on strong. I probably can tap into the market further with more promotions, now that Google is making aware of the existence of URL shorteners.

I can hardly believe the news myself when I first knew about it but apparently GoDaddy.com has put themselves up for sale. For those who do not know what GoDaddy.com is, they are a well-known domain registrar and hosting company and aggressively promote their products through television and internet ads, something other domain registrars rarely do. The company is valued at USD $1 billion.
So who would buy GoDaddy.com? My guess is as good as yours, but I would not be surprised if the big G buys it. In fact I cannot imagine any other buyer apart from them would show interest in a domain registrar like GoDaddy.com

Its really amazing how someone can say one thing to you, and say something else completely the opposite of what he thinks of you to another person. I have been on the receiving end of that apparently. There is this one webmaster (I am not going to mention names) who is really a talented designer. I have provided work for him in the past and I like to think of him as a good friend whom I will help whenever he is in need.
Well, to cut a long story short, I agreed to allow him to use my wife’s AdSense account for his website(s) after he was banned for no apparent reason. He did put it up for three weeks after we pretty much trashed out the details…but all of a sudden, he pulled the plug by removing all the AdSense code and discontinued communication with me without telling me the reason why.

Who would have thought that being a full-time internet entrepreneur would have its fringe benefits? Never thought much of it either, but last Saturday I reached an important stage of my life: marriage. So now its pretty much official, we are now husband and wife and I am very glad that I decided to go on this career path of my choice. Without this, I doubt that I could have attained the financial freedom and stability that I have achieved now in order to proceed to marrying my wife.
Its a great feeling, knowing that you have tasted the fruit of your success, that all the hardship I’d faced when I first started out blogging full-time three years ago seemed like dream that is easily forgotten now. I just hope that I can achieve my hopes and dreams, with her at my side.

For those who don’t quite grasp the idea of how link building is possible for SEO (search engine optimisation), the infographic above should give a clear idea of how the concept of link building can be done, courtesy of Datadial London. Link building is considered as the “currency” of the World Wide Web. Without relevant links pointing to your website in large numbers, search engines such as Google will not be able to find and quickly index your web pages or rank your website well in their search engine results page. Your website will be buried under the plethora of other websites which have done their SEO homework well through link building. If you have no idea how to begin building links to your website, you can easily hire London SEO agency, which can do the relevant SEO work for you.
Anyone who has been involved in building and developing websites online knows that one can make a profit from buying and selling websites. Selling a Website, however, requires that you take into account several important things before you decide to pitch your website to a buyer for a sale.
The first step you should undertake is to get a Website Valuation. After that, all you need to do is to weave in your personal touch in your sales message. Nobody wants to be sold to by a total stranger, but many people will buy after seeing a strong recommendation to them. If you can convince your audience that you are a personal friend who has their best interest at heart, they will be convinced to buy your website. Website due diligence must always be kept into mind.
You should also publish testimonials and comments from your customers after every website sale. A good idea would be to publish both good and bad comments; that way prospects will be really convinced that these testimonials are real. When prospects see the testimonials of your past successes, they will have the confidence to buy from you because human beings follow the herd mentality. When others have bought and proven it authentic, they will jump on the bandwagon and buy websites from you as well.
