PayPal restores my account…for the third time

Posted on Tuesday, December 25th 2007 6:04 pm by menj in Payment Gateway

And for the third time since using PayPal, they have restored my account after limiting it two days ago…again.

Dear Mohd Elfie Nieshaem Juferi,

Our review is complete and we have restored your account.

We appreciate your patience and thank you for your help in making PayPal
the safest and most trusted online payment solution.

Sincerely,
Charlotte
PayPal

What I am puzzled about the whole deal is why this has to happen in the first place? My account was not just limited once or twice but three times. I have been doing the same activities that I have been doing ever since I opened a PayPal account: buying, selling and trading for webmaster and internet related services. I just simply do not get why I have to be a victim for their “policy”, whatever it is.

So I bought something on ebay but I wasn’t satisfied with my purchase so I returned it. I just got an email stating that my payment has been refunded through Paypal and was given the receipt number and everything. But the problem is, I don’t even have a Paypal account! So I decided to make a Paypal account but now I don’t know what to do to put the money in there because my balance still says $0.00. Can someone help me please?

I am a teenager and I just made a paypal account and I don’t have a bank account or a credit card. I have a website that gives free money and I have enough money to redeem it on paypal. I want to use paypal to buy things from ebay but to do that I have to verify my paypal account. Is their anyway to verify it without having a bank or credit card. I need it really badly please help me out.

Hello, my pc broke a while ago, and to get it fixed, I have had to completely restore the whole system, so I have lost all the game saves and the games themselves…. I could re-download all the games again, but it is like over 100GB of downloads, and my internet isn’t very good, so that would take AGES. So, since I can’t download them again, I have just given up with games…

On the account, their are 38 games, here are some of the big ones:
      Saints Row: The Third
      The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
      Just Cause 2
      Left For Dead
      Left For Dead 2
      Portal
      Portal 2
      GTA: San Andreas
      Terraria
      Counter-Strike: Source
      Half-Life
      Half-Life 2

PLUS: There is still £3 left in the Steam Wallet to add to your next game.

I added it up, and in total, I have payed £223 for all of these games, but some where bought it one time offers, so really, there are worth over £260… Make offers, and if I am ok with them, and you are really interested, contact me at “chrisy98@hotmail.co.uk” and I will send you a full list of all the games. If you want to buy it, then we can use paypal, as it would be the safest option.

      Thanks, Chris.

(And if you are just going to leave answers asking why I just don’t use eBay or something… I have already tried ebay and I nearly got scammed the first time, and the 2nd time I put it up, it just didn’t sell…)
Made a typo.. it should be “On the account, their are 3[9] games, here are some of the big ones:”

Okay… well I just sold something on ebay. And the buyer sent me the payment via PayPal. But paypal says that they put the payment temporarily on hold. And I read that the funds will be sent to my balance if I get a positive feedback or if I print a shipping label using PayPal. So I printed the shipping label and am going to send the item tomorrow. But how long will it take for the payment to be released from hold after I printed the shipping label? Anyone with personal experience with this?

I am unsure whether to use PayPal for eBay and would like to but i have heard that they can be unreliable, doing things such as freezing accounts, withdrawing money without your permission, etc. Is any of this true? Would you recommend using PayPal?

To verify the paypal account is necessary to link our credit card or our bank account.
I added my bank account to paypal. They say that by doing so the paypal account is verified.
But so far nothing has happened.

Does anyone know how is the verification process? How long until the account is verified? The paypal will get in touch with me?

I added my bank account to Paypal today and paypal says to wait 2-3 business days for the two deposits. Also, does Paypal conduct business through the weekends, or do I have to wait until Monday for Paypal to send those deposits to bank account and for me to go to my bank to get the bank statements to verify my bank account for Paypal? Thanks.

I’ve just bought something on ebay that I can’t afford to pay for until tomorrow (when I get paid.) What I want to know is whether paypal takes longer than say 6-7 hours to take the money from your account. As if it does I can pay for it now without going overdrawn. Does anyone know how long paypal takes to make payments?

PayPal says in their policy that you can have up to two. But I’ve read that some people actually have more than two. So how many accounts do you have if you have more than two?
