Blogging For Money

I have been trying out Kontera for a few months now but the result has not exactly been encouraging. Partly my fault, because I only put up the code on one blog (i.e., my blog) although I added several websites and blogs to Kontera! The reason is that sometimes the Kontera ads can be quite intrusive. As a matter of fact, I was forced to remove the Kontera ad from this website after receiving some complaints from the readers.

Since that particular incident, I was too lazy to even bother with the programme.

However, reading this post by LiewCF is giving me second thoughts. Maybe I should put the Kontera codes on my websites/blogs and experiment with the colours and stuff. I’m not really in it for the money since paid blogging is no doubt the most lucrative for me, but it does not hurt to have a little experience with Kontera.

Its not my major source of income anymore, but who said money does not help? I can’t depend on the G for income but neither can I neglect it. Anyway here is yet again my posting of the (not so fat) cheque from Google.

Yet again, Google has been kind enough to send me a cheque as payment for serving their ads on my little online empire. Its great to be with Google all these months since February 2005 and the benefits have been enormous. It makes blogging a well-earned effort.

Now watch as I gloat and laugh all the way to the bank.

I can earn money through Google. So can you.
