I will visit Mexico and Colorado soon. I was thinking…Should I buy a traveling journal to write down my thoughts for these trips? Or should I just write my thoughts for these trips in my personal journal that I write in everyday?
Side note: I don’t travel a lot. I only travel to far way places to do community service.

The women in my family have been keeping personal journals for the last 100 years. The only time that anyone other than the journal writer sees it is when that writer dies. Then the others of the family put it away for 25 years. At that time, it is taken out and read by the other women in the family. I am approaching the time when my grandmother’s journal will be taken out and each one of the women in my family will be allowed to read it. What do you think about that?

I’m not talking about published biographies. I’m talking about your best friend’s/parent’s/sibling’s/cousin’s/steady’s personal journal, Which has everything they would never tell another person, much less post on Face-Twitt.

Would you read it if offered the chance?

I’m looking for a possible website which gives you a question to ask yourself each day and answer in your personal journal.

      Any ideas?

I’m a student that’s not really that social. Every time I go to sit outside after lunch, people always walk over and start talking to me all the time and it gets quickly annoying. I want to know how i can blend in so that they won’t notice me.

So I left my very very very personal journal at school. I went back to the classroom I left it in and couldn’t find it anywhere. I thought maybe I had left it at home but it turns out I didn’t The journal is very personal. it details my depression and my feelings about people and teachers, and I say things that, if a teacher read, could get me in serious trouble. What should I do? I’m going to look in lost and found…but what if someone has read it? I’m really freaking out :/

In a book I’m writing I want to add couple adjectives to describe the binding method that would’ve been used on a personal journal or diary from the 30’s or 40’s. Thanks.

I have a journal that I have kept in just a regular notebook. I’m ready to get rid of it. What is the best way to destroy it into tiny pieces?

I saw the movie on Disney Channel and it had a really interesting plot-line in my opinion. I can’t find it anywhere and was wondering what age group this is for. I’m in the 7th grade and 12 years old, but I can read longer books, like 300 pages or so. Anyone know how big this book is?

      I gave you an arm,
      that makes me
      live
      on and on
      glowing for many days.
      I have always known
      you, in your mother’s
      clothes.
      Winter is not coming,
      not this year.
      Just an ice age…
      fall to sleep
      with curly hair
      that crowned my head
      in a golden glow.
      Lept
      into the lap
      of your God.
      Did not know–
      never knew me.

I am starting a personal journal and am looking for any advice from the experienced journal-keepers out there.

I plan on including a record of what happened each day and perhaps any interesting conversations I had. So, I am planning more of a record book than a diary with my thoughts and feelings.

What kind of things do you usually write in your journals? What works for you?

Just looking for some ideas, (:
      What’s in your journal?
      *This is for DarkPhantomWolf.
What I mean is certain people have a journal of some sort. I want to know what you keep in it, like songs, about your day, doodles, stuff like that.

I am trying to teach my 3rd grader nephew on how to write a journal.
I showed him my diary from 50 years ago and he thought it was cool.
Diary is a girl word so I changed it to journal. Are there any rules on
      writing a journal? Thanks…

Right now I have all my journal entries saved in Word in a folder on my desktop. But my computer tends to crash a lot! 🙁 So I was wondering if anyone knows of a website where I can just upload it. I don’t want to retype or copy paste everything. I have 57 entries. lol

Kind of like keeping a Personal Daily Diary! If you have any links you can include in your answer or tell me about, I would greatly appreciate your help! Thanks!
ADD: I’m not sure if this is the right category, so I’m asking this question under the category suggested. If it is in the wrong category, can you tell me which category this question would go into, so I can repost it there?

I havn’t been able to find a page that allows me to write my own text, as personal journal. Please guide me through the steps to achieve this. I want to be able to type my details everyday, with a password so that only I can access it.

ok, so there are pros and cons to both….
like having a personal journal is soemthing u would more likely look back on and laugh to urself….but handwritting it is a pain…..
Tumblr u get to socialize with the public but it is probably gonna become another fb for me……and it’s less personal than a journal
which would u choose to start (i’m starting one for the New Year.

If someone has a personal journal and they right something in it about themselves or someone else breaking the law, can it be used in court as evidence?
