Refund cheque from web host arrives

So along with the Google Adsense cheque, I found my refund cheque from the previous web host which I have cancelled my semi-dedicated hosting account with. Here it is.

The refund amount is for three months, I’ve already used the previous three months πŸ™ Ah, if only I knew about DataKL Hosting earlier…

Or do you think Google has good intentions or a bit of both?

Keep in mind, Google does not make much money in China and this kind of publicity will probably increase revenue better than regular Chinese annual revenues for the company.

I received a lovely letter from Inland revenue telling me they owe me money for overpaid tax. It says that the cheque will be sent seperatly. Its now been over a week, anyone have any idea how long it takes to arrive usually???? could really do with it right now! Thank you.

Google has started displaying a location under the search bar to the left. There’s an option to change the location, or to let Google auto-detect, but I don’t want a location displayed at all. How do I stop Google from showing what it thinks is my location under the search bar on the left?

Basically waiting for my tax refund cheque from the US.
I know I can take it to my bank and cash it or have it put it into my account.

I was wondering if I could get the cheque cashed in dollars somewhere instead in the UK?
      Thanks

From a technical point of view how Google in different ways can (or could) gather information about users and use it to customize advertisements, both at their own and others’ sites. What kinds of information can be gathered?

Hi, i’m planning on using an HTC Aria/Wildfire on a plan that includes only 50MB of data a month (3g). All I really use 3g for is Facebook, emails and google maps. Does anyone know if the GPS on google maps will put a spike in my data allowance?

      Thanks.
