Remember this Japanese show?

I can never forget this popular Japanese show that was aired during the late 1980s and early 1990s. It was called Moero Attack. I recall that it was dubbed into Bahasa Melayu when it was shown on the local television channels. The storyline is about a Japanese high school volleyball team, but it was the volleyball moves that has the strongest appeal to me personally.

Like Chun, I am determined to succeed in my internet business. Such shows have indirectly motivated me and given the impetus to go for whatever you really want to do and achieve success in life. That is one of the most important lessons that I’ve learnt from serials such as Moero Attack.

    1. I saw it on youtube once, but forgot the name, okay here goes.

A Cute Japanese girl with nice clothing, is placed in a room with a tall unattractive Japanese girl that’s wearing raggedy clothing, The cute Japanese girl has to do some sort of rhyming thing in order to keep from trading her clothing with the tall ugly Japanese girl wearing the dirty raggedy clothing, if she screws up she has to trade a piece of her clothing with the ugly girl every round, if she gets it right she gets to keep her clothes I believe. But yeah some music plays and they do a dance while chanting a word for a second and then they do the ending rhyme when the music ends…..I hope this sounds familiar to someone! I really want to watch it again!

    2. Okay this dude wore a suit, he had special powers with his wrist, and he flew, same action as Godzilla, and Voltron, and Jack Jaguar, but this “man” was good….Please help me remember his name I am losing it not being able to remember!!!

    3. I’m trying to remember a show in the late 90s. It was a Japanese anime show. There was a boy and a girl and they captured these creatures with these cards. If anyone knows what I’m talking about please tell me the show. Thank you!

    4. In this show Gackt catches a fly with his own hand, brushes fake teeth, and gets made fun of by the way he eats. These may have happened in different episodes but these are some of the only things I can remember about the show. If anyone even has a guess about what Japanese Variety Show it is i’ll be very grate full.

    6. When I was a kid I remember rushing home from school to watch a tv show called ultra man.It was a cheesy japanese style show and the monsters were wearing the big rubber suits similar to the old godzilla movies.Ultra man though had a silver suit and helmet and a light on his chest that kept track of his energy,if it ran out he was in real trouble, and he would have to fight these goofy looking monsters in rubber suits every day to save japan.Thinking back,I thought this was one of the greatest shows to ever be on tv,but this was the early 70’s and there wasn’t a whole lot of shows on that were for kids through the week.Does anyone else have a favorite show from there childhood that they can remember,I’d love to hear them.

    8. ok i really am being vague here because i only remember this show from when i was like 10 so if you could help me i would really appreciate it. there was this japanese show where i think there were 3 main characters who used (i think different types of vechiles but only definetly remember futuristic looking motorcycles) and the colours of these bikes and the characters suits were; one guy had yellow as his colour, and another guy had green as his colour..cant remember the other colour of the character – maybe blue or red..may have been 4 characters. im really sorry that this is so vague but if anyone could give me a few names of shows then i could have a look and narrow it down. i really appreciate it thanks – i’ve been trying to find out what the show is for months!!

    9. I lurved Monkey when I was young – never really noticed it was dubbed either! Pigsy, Tripitaka ? what was the one with skulls round his neck called? Oh and the cool music……
Did anyone else appreciate this quality show?

    10. It was out in probably the early 2000’s. It was set in the 50’s or 60’s, and i think some of it might have been in black and white. It was about this family that lived in an apartment and there was an older brother and a younger brother. The show was narrated by an older version of the younger brother. It was on at night either before or after the japanese game show bonzai. This is all I can really remember. Does anyone remember it?

    11. Hi, I have a sony wega projection television.. I have connected “basic cable” via the VHF/UHF input in the back, its weird cuz all the cable channels work great but the local channels are fuzzy and have static, how do i get rid of this?

the static is like a weird fuzz sound and theres a line between the screen and like you can see the next scene sh ow up .. like seeing double..
I am trying to connect basic cable (not antenna) to the VHF/UHF input.. and yes all the channels that dont work are below 13 whats weird is that they work sometimes not always..
also – it didnt do this before.

    12. It an old Japanese drama about a bunch of girl volleyball player…I remember the main character’s name is Rin. I’d like to exchange stories with those who remember…thanks..

    13. I think the show came on in the mid to late 80’s maybe earlier. I remember a japanese man changing into a giant golden robot and he fought other giant villains. I can’t seem to find any information on this show. Can anyone help me out, I would greatly appreciate it, Thanks

    14. digital ready, we have been told with Directv there will be no problems. But during the tests on the local channels, a message said if you can see this you are not ready. Directv has even checked it out and say I should still have no problems. But can’t answer why the message comes on.Could anyone help with this as to why the message says if you can see this you are not ready. Could you give me your advice?

    15. The migration from broadcast TV to cable has become a stampede in the MLB and the NBA. In the past, the home games were on a premium cable channel and the away games were on over the air. I cannot believe that baseball has picked up viewership by moving almost all the games to cable, and certainly the local channels who have replaced games with infomercials cannot be picking up viewers either. How does the sport benefit from this regrettable trend?

    16. This show was basically part of the japanese metal-hero craze in the 1990’s. It looked like powerrangers, and had some alien-dude who looked like Jay Leno. Remember???? This show made me sick.

    17. Does anybody remember this show where they had all these Japanese/Asian people on it and it was on a program called Spiketv.. The show was kind of like wipeout? I remember watching it when I was little but I can’t remember the name of it. So if anyone knows what I’m talking about please answer 🙂 Thanks

    18. They normally interview another Japanese pop icon, if I’m remembering correctly… The white cat’s face is featured as an avatar on the Playstation Network, also.
If this helps, I am positive there is an episode where Hatsune Miku is featured in the program.

    20. I just started Wing Chun, and I’m curious if there are some counter attacks against somebody that is a street fighter. Like they might try to upper cut me, tackle me or grapple kind of like boxing. Is there a way that I can defend from myself against these people who try to hurt me? Anybody who is a WC expert? Thanks.

    21. I’ve pretty much made up my mind to go into the navy, i just have to wait till my SR year in highschool to sign my contract, im a Jr right now. But i was wondering if i can take classes to learn a new language while in service. I would love to learn japanese, right now i speak english of course and im in the middle of learning spanish. But i do not want to be a linguist,im planning on going for EOD.

    22. i really cant remember 🙁

haha its really funny but i cant find it!

      thanks!

    23. I’m trying to learn Japanese since I’m going to visit Japan.I want to learn not only conversational Japanese but I would also like to advance it more. What are the best possible ways for me to achieve this goal?

    24. Hi all,

My Japanese final is in two days and I’m having trouble recognizing verbs and vocab when they are changed into their te or past/past negative forms.

Should I be memorizing the stem or convert them and memorize each separately? Any tips or ideas?

      Thanks in advance!

    25. It was the one that was kind of like an anime, and it had kids/teens that wore these weird helmets that were like bird heads. The fat guy had like an owl-like visor. I cant remember the name of it and my friends and I have been trying to remember it for weeks.
