RM1,000 offer is still open

Posted on Monday, April 23rd 2007 1:07 pm by menj in Offbeat

I’ve gotten three reviews for Batch 2, but I need two more to complete it. I guess its my fault for not drilling into everyone’s heads that there is a contest going on where you stand to win RM1,000. And no, this is not a scam. I am staking my reputation on this. I like to think that I am a bit too well-known in the blogosphere to actually default on my promise and not pick a winner in the end.

To win RM1,000 all you have to do is to review my blog and submit your link to me. Follow the rules as stated here, that is all you have to do. The best blog review will win RM1,000. Not very hard to do, is it not?

Of course, needless to mention there are some bloggers who are automatically disqualified from entering the contest, even if they follow the rules to the letter. They know who they are. I’ll be damned if I am going to give them RM1K.

I want to get more customer feedback online – you know – digital word of mouth? How do some companies get so much feedback? And how do I boost my numbers in the reviews department?

There were about 170 reviews of the new Call of Duty game on Amazon but they all got pulled. What was the reason for pulling the reviews, and do you know of any other time when a product has all it’s reviews pulled?

I’m new and the Senior Team Lead said that reviews were coming up during huddle. What’s a review exactly? Can you be fired during a review? Or because of a bad review?
I’ve seriously not been told anything about these “reviews” other than they are coming up.

I have been watching 2 programs on youtube the irate gamer and the angry video game nerd. Both are entertaining because when they do the reviews they completely go psycho. But why do they review games from the 1980’s and 1990’s I mean sure it’s funny watching them go insane while reviewing games, but the games they review are so old it’s not like they are saying anything that hasn’t been said 1000 times before. So why do people still do reviews for old games?

I’ve been looking for a job but I have a hard time because I want to know about the company before I apply so as not to waste my time and theirs. I would like to read employees’ reviews on what they think of working for that company. Is there any such site? They have sites reviewing colleges, professors, restaurants, shops, etc so I’m just curious if there would be one reviewing being an employee.

So what? She’s black. What’s the big deal?

I’m sure Obama has, or at least tried to date a white woman before.

Does this really need to be made an issue of? Of all things?

I am new to using eBay and I found the page of ALL the reviews of items sold by the seller, but it’s way too much for me to search through. How can I view the reviews of just one of the buyers items at a time?

A member of staff left my business and as she was not allowed to return she is writing untrue and misleading messages on my review, this is very damaging to my business . I have informed the police but I need to remove the reviews. Someone told me that google take these intimidating and draughtory messages seriously so I though to take an action.

I need reviews about the Disney Co. Not just on the theme park or movies or cruise. It has to be the whole company review. A review as in an opinion.

Don’t post your reviews, post official reviews.

Consider the virtual scientific consensus on the topic:

      http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/S.....ate_change

Now consider the quantity of contrarian material seen in the media, ideological “think tanks”, industry-funded sources, blogosphere, and political press releases.

Hypothetically, what if there was a very simple solution to global warming – one that didn’t require government action? Would most global warming denial still exist if global warming didn’t require strong political action affecting huge entrenched industries and stoking irrational ideological fears of government regulation and control? Would fervent conspiracy theorists claiming it’s all a grand hoax still troll these sites?
      ppth,

The Wikipedia article mainly lists the position statements of the major scientific academies and organizations and is well-sourced. You might want to read it.

When looking for reviews about the best home business to get started in, they all seem to be wanting to sell something. I’m looking for an unbiased place that I might go to to tell me what’ hot and up and coming.

I am looking for apartments in the North Dallas (TX) area and I feel like every apartment I look at has the most horrible reviews ever. I get that some people have higher expectations of apartments, and that sometimes managers post “anonymous” positive postings. Has anyone found a site with reviews that pretty well reflected the apartments you looked at or moved in to? Just feeling a little overwhelmed right now.

About how many (online or print) reviews of a product would the average American consumer read? Any references would be fantastic as well.

I recently wrote a book which is listed on Amazon. I would like to editorial reviews to my book’s listing page, but I cannot find ANY information on HOW to do this. I emailed Amazon and they only sent me a link to the publishers catalog that I had already looked at for over an hour. I clicked on link after link and still could not find any information on how to upload editorial reviews. Does anyone have any suggestions or a proper specific link to help? thanks!
