my boyfriend has been on methadone for 7 days now and I have noticed he has been twitching alot. His whole body. Even when he is laying down I can see the twitching. Is this common? Or do you think it may be a problem that the pain killers and xanex he was taking were masking?

I have been off the painkillers for a month now but I am still extremely depressed. The doctor has put me on depression medicine but I still can’t return to normal. I feel like I can’t be happy without the Vicodin. Will things ever get better?

When talking about him and how Obama mentions him but never seem to remember that Obama admits to marijuana and cocaine use. Isn’t that just as bad or worse than painkillers?
I’m not really a Rush L. fan but I find it funny that Obama supporters can throw stones in their glass houses. How can you reference one and not the other? Don’t they cancel each other out?
Good points, but was Rush really railing against drug addicts while he was addicted? I think he was against those addicts who wouldnt work. He kept up his hectic work schedule while on the stuff.
And if you admit to experimenting with coke, you probably did a lot. That’s not a one time drug, trust me!

I don’t need criticism. I just need help because it’s driving me crazy and every minute I spend without them is painful. I usually take 4 pills of 500mg every four hours.. Im done with this. I need help.

I have a friend that has been taking lots of pain killers everyday for the past year an on an off for several more. She wants to get off but she says the aches, pain, and sleeplessness is to much. Is there any thing over the counter she can take to help or just anything anyone can think of besides rehab that will help her get over this???

I am watching a court show where couple was divorced and the guy had a couple of addictions behind him in his past..
It reminded me of an ex boyfriend of mine who had a habit of popping painkillers..
At first I didn’t know this about him until maybe almost a year into the relationship. And then when we were broken up for some time I got to find out that it was a heavy habit of his, not sure if it was always like that or if it progressed into something worse.
I think about it because I’d wonder, how many of those fights that we had were caused because of the pain killers. He would pop them when we were together and I wouldn’t have a clue.
Many of our fights were from him being spacey or asking me the same thing twice, or because he would forget what I said.. Half the time he would be playing video games too though.. But I swear I couldn’t even tell that he was high on anything, I just thought maybe he was dumb or something?!!!
And then of course we would fight about that..
He would pick up and leave, pack his things but then come back.. I thought it was just me sometimes, I thought maybe I was just a difficult person to live with..
But then when he went back home I noticed he would get into some fights with his parents, probably because of irritability. It seemed like irritability. His parents were such calm and nice people, I couldn’t see how they could be getting into such fights where he would get kicked out..
So my question is, to what extent does taking nonprescription painkillers affect your relationships?
His other addictions were cigarettes and energy drinks.
They’re almost seemingly harmless but potentially dangerous habits?
Is it just me or is it impossible to have a relationship in those circumstances

My mother takes hydrocodones for her multiple health problems: fibromyalgia, sciatica, and others. She took propoxyphene (unsure of spelling) until it was banned and does the same as she does now. She has falling asleep while driving countless times. She lashes out at me constantly and emotionally and physically abuses me. Today, and sadly this has happened multiple times, she screamed at the lady at pharmacy and called her ugly names because she was not able to legally fill the prescription until another 3 days.

Anything is appreciated. I just hope I wonder if I am the only one that believes this.

I don’t know if I do or not, I don’t feel the physical side effects of not taking it, but mentally I want to take them. I take 2-6 a day, depending on the days. Should i stop cold turkey or what? Please help me!!!

My boyfriend just got out of rehab from Oxycontin and other pain killer abuse. and i have a feeling heroin as well. I have been hearing things that he has relapsed, and i almost believe it. He says he will be going to the doctors everyday for the next three years to get Methadone everyday to stop the cravings. Is this the right thing? is he lying?
