They will have to eat dirt

The next person who refers to yours truly as “an unemployed problogger” (which is an oxymoron in itself, it should be noted) is going to have to eat dirt. Especially with this post which talks about successful bloggers who have earned five figure incomes from the internet. Although I would certainly beg to differ with the NST about Alang (yes, I know who he is…he inspired me to do this and this) being a “problogger”, as a more correct definition for him would be “web directory owner”.

I am flattered that Hong Kiat had made mention of my name but I don’t think that I should be listed. After all, there are more successful people than me out there. Me, I’m just your average internet activist critically analysing religions, who only quite recently discovered the joy of earning from your passion. When I first took up blogging, I never intended to make money out of it. Yet here I am today, making some money out of paid blogging and various advertising services. Not only is the money enough to pay for the support of my Muslim internet activism for a long time (and I mean a very long time), it will also insha’allah be enough for me to support a family.

Hopefully I am able to continue doing this for a long time until the time comes when I have to decide on a new direction.

Our 7 month old Border Collie/ Shepherd is a very odd dog when it comes to food. When we first got her from the SPCA 4 months ago, she would eat her kibble amazingly.

Then, over the past two months, she started to put her nose up at the kibble. We had always added soft dog food to it. She refused to eat it. So I added cottage cheese- she ate good for a week, then refused or would pick out the cottage cheese. Then I added yogurt, same thing. About a week ago, she refused to eat any kibble what-so-ever.

I decided that would be a great time to ween her and my other dog off of added stuff in their kibble- we cut out all treats, meat, fruit, and veggies from their diet just so that they would eat the kibble. I left chews [rawhide and bully sticks] for the 7 month old because she is still teething.

Well, it’s been 3 days now and she still isn’t eating. She hasn’t pooped in two days because she isn’t eating anything. She has eaten, however, two bully sticks and knawed a bone down to almost nothing.

Is she filling up on bully sticks and bones now? When I try to feed her, she just stares at me and then runs and hides. Which is another story all together.

What should I do? She is still drinking, but I can’t let her out now in the backyard with the other dog because she will eat dirt and grass. I know she’s hungry, why won’t she eat?

I even tried moving her to a seperate room to have privacy or moving her to her crate, and she still won’t eat it- they eat Taste of the Wild.

So you say Jesus died for our sins. I say according to the Bible he didn’t. Why? Lets look at scripture, starting in Genesis…

Gen. 3:13 And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.

Gen. 3:14 And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:

      Gen. 3:17 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;

      To the woman he said,
      “I will greatly increase your pains in childbearing;
with pain you will give birth to children.
Your desire will be for your husband,
and he will rule over you.”

Look at the number of curses, or if you will effects of “sin.” We know that snakes will eat dirt because of sin ( Lets just ignore this part since its completely false.), we know that Women will have pains in childbirth, we know that we are aware of our nakedness, and we know that we will turn into dirt and die.

So these are the consequences of sin.

Jesus came and died for our sin. According to the Bible and Christians as follows:

. . John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold THE LAMB of God, which TAKETH AWAY THE SIN of the world.” John 1:29

Friend, Jesus Christ shed His blood on the cross to pay the penalty for YOUR sin!

“Who his own self bare OUR SINS in his own body on the tree,. . .” 1 Peter 2:24

” . . . Unto him that loved us, and washed us from OUR SINS in his own BLOOD,” Revelation 1:5b

      W

This appears to imply that Jesus died for our sins and took them away I will assume every Christian who has been to church can agree with this.

So there we have 2 very important things. We have visible consequences of sin and we have the Sins of the Earth being taken away.

It seems very strange then that we still die, that women still have pains in childbirth, that people still go hungry, that we are still aware of being naked, and that snakes still eat dirt(sorry I had to throw it in there. BTW snakes don’t and never have eaten dirt if you don’t get the joke.), but they do lie on their bellies.

So we have the curse of sin! A physical manifistation of sin and we have a savior who has come to rid of us this curse and take away the effects of sin, but the effects of sin still remain and as far as anyone is concerned noone has lived forever, not have pain in childbirth, not gone hungry, and has not been unaware of themselves being naked since Jesus died.

Simply put, there is no way Jesus died for our sins according to the Bible.
Ableppo, I simply stated the Bible. Stated the fact that Jesus died for the sins that we were put under in Genesis and upon a very simple observation can see that the effects of sin have no been cleansed. You say Jesus died for our sins, but you say the world hasn’t come to an end. So are you saying that the effects of Jesus’ death won’t take effect until the earth ends? That contradicts the Bible which states Jesus took on all of our sins at that moment.

Again, look around you. The effects of sin are still here. It is obvious noone took away any portion of sin.

Basically your post makes no sense.
Here, Discord and to anyone else I am gonna post this paragraph real clearly.

John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold THE LAMB of God, which TAKETH AWAY THE SIN of the world.” John 1:29

Either its true or its not. I have shown that it is not, what else is there to consider?
Kind_LAD – Bro…. You gotta read man. Eve disobeyed God it was 100% a sin. It was THE sin. The sin that started all of this. The land was cursed because of it.

I don’t know how that wasn’t clear or obvious. Unless you think disobeying God is a good thing, which would defy christian logic.

So I will explain this all over again…. Adam and Eve sinned, Banished from the Garden, Consequences happened. God sends Jesus to attone for Sin of Adam and Eve, which takes on the sin of the world. Destroying Sin.

First off if you guys really think that Jesus taking on the sins of the WORLD. Meant we still have sin in the world, but just go to heaven. Then you have no common or basic sense. WORLD… Its as clear as day.

And yes Satan was a Serpent. Thats why snakes were cursed on there bellies. Unless you actually believe that satan is flopping around on his belly right now.

Please think before posting. This is just getting rediculous.
TOFROS: I am sure your trying to help. Let me try to explain this one…. more…. time…

I am talking about the Curse Jesus himself claimed he came down to atone for. The curse of sin that began with Adam and Eve disobeying God.

I am not saying we don’t ever do wrong since Jesus came. I am saying his attonement for that Sin is quite obviously absent. The curse is still here. So there could in no way been an atonement for something that we can visually see still exists.

Its like you telling me a wall is white when its clearly painted black. Is this really not being understood? I can’t make it any simpler.
ALAN H – Penalty and consequence are essentially the same thing. Yes there are consequences for our human actions. I am talking about a curse though and a promise to rid that curse through Jesus.

The penalty for speeding is a ticket, if God (officer) forgives that ticket the consequence thereafter would be no ticket.

We can both take stories unrelated to the Bible and make them fit our view so lets just stick to what the Bible strictly says.

The curse is still here and that didn’t answer the question.
Okay my ticket scenario would make more sense saying my Mom is God and she forgives me for getting a ticket, but I still get the ticket from the officer. The thing is God is the one giving the punishment for the original sin. So if my Mom was the officer and she forgave me for getting the ticket then she still gave it to me. She didnt really forgive me by action, she just said she did.

Also, God says he sent Jesus to take on the curse of the world by sin. Thats pretty specific. It would be like my Mom blatantly saying I will take away the ticket completely once I send myself as another self to die for the ticket. Then after she went through all of that the “Ticket” still remained.

This doesn’t make you scratch your head at all?

      Like she did with sb1070?

She is denying drivers license to dreamers in az who will obtain a work permit and by definition be legal for two years.

Bq: what do you think about the fact that illegal immigrants in az have been getting drivers licenses for quite a while, that is after they get caught by ICE, pay the bail to be released and wait for their hearing with an immigration judge outside of prison, GET A WORK PERMIT AND THEREFORE A DRIVERS LICENSE?
She never did anything about that, but did about dreamers benefiting from deferred action, is it because they were getting national attention and she wanted a piece too?

Ok so my sister brought home 8 five week old puppies. The owner left the puppies and their mother alone for 5 days while he went on vacation. My sister didn’t want to leave them because they were just sitting outside in the dirt and were not going to be brought inside anywhere out of the cold. So she brought them home. Yesterday, she brought them back to their mother, and she rejected them by snarling, growling, and biting them. My sister bought some puppy food and all the puppies will eat except one of them. He is a brindle male. He hasny eaten in a couple of days. He also has a little infection on his you know what. However my sister took him to the vet and they told her just to clean it really well. I really need some advice. Any suggestions are welcome and GREATLY needed.
      Thanks =D

      Hi there,

We have a 11 week old beagle that we have had for 2.5 weeks now and sometimes he seems really happy and healthy but othertimes really moppy and unwell.

He had a runny tummy when we got him and took him to the vet within 48 hours to get him checked over. They assured us this was normal and that it is very common for pups to have runny tummys as they have just been taken from their parents and siblings, environment and diet change etc and he looked healthy. They gave him Pro-kolin and a shot of antibiotics.

Having had dogs before I knew in myself he was not right and the diarrhea got worse and there was blood and mucus. They gave him antibitoics, rehydration fluids and I insisted they sent off a poo sample for testing.

He then got much better and was hype like a regular puppy. He had his first vaccine and all seemed well. Then the test results on the poo sample came back with Campylobacter! We immediately started him on antibitoics for this bug and over the next few days he was okay still. Then on Monday night the diarrhea started again with lots of mucus and blood. We took him to the vet first thing Tues and he had a fever. They gave him a jab to bring down the fever and asked to see him again yesterday. They checked him yesterday and said he was quiet but to keep with the antibiotics and he would get better. Last night a few hours after the vet, when I went to put him to bed, after sleeping for most of the evening, I notice his mouth had a sticky clear liquid on his lips and in his mouth. I have never since this on a dog before. After googling we see it is a sign of dehydration? I am reluctant to go to the vet (what feels like everyday) and pay £30 for them to see him and stick a thermometer up his bum then say stick with the antibiotics! I do not have a problem paying to get him treated but I want them to make him better! I have just googled his symptoms and it suggests worms?! Would this not have shown up in the tests?!

      His symptoms have been:

depraved appetite and will eat dirt and rubbish
Some days ravenously hungry, the next day they will not eat at all
sleep is disturbed by dreams and intestinal rumbling
urine is high colored and frequently passed
      bowels irregular
      stomach easily unsettled
mouth is hot, sticky and full of ropy saliva.
      bloat easily and are pot-bellied
      colicky pains
curl up and sleep hour after hour

Can anyone give advice on if they have had a puppy suffer similarly so I can go back to the vet later with a bit more info?!

      Thanks

      Laura
Have called the vet and I am taking him back tonight, she assured me they tested for everything, but she is concerned he is not getting better and is going to change the antibiotics. She is also giving me stuff for worms just in case although the tests showed nothing.

I hope he gets better soon as I hate seeing him suffer
me and my partner are obssessively clean and I have made my hands dry with the amount of times I wash my hands. They have been doing the pinch test and said he is not dehyrated, but the sticky fluid in the mouth would suggest otherwise?

I have a 3 mo Lab that loves to eat dirt and grass, but mainly dirt. He’s also getting a little nippie, is this teething or a behavior issue? How old are they when the teething issue subsides?
