The free WordPress theme that I mentioned previously has been coded and you can see the demo here. The name of the theme is Emporium Business Theme.

The WP theme is 3-columns, widget-ready and works in WP 2.2. It will be released very soon, I hope. You will be able to download the file at this blog as well as other places that will be announced at a later date.

That looks like a very cool theme – I love the color scheme. Do you create WordPress themes often?

Hi, I managed to get my header to the top portion, 100% width of my blog on wordpress.com by using absolute.
The problem now is with overlapping the content, and sidebars.
What code can I use to fix the overlapping and have the content and sidebars appear right under the header?

I am using the sandbox theme with 3 columns
I’ve already asked the question on support.wordpress.com but noone has answered

I run a small indoor pirate themed children’s soft play and i have been offered to have the building next to mine. I want to expand my business bu i was looking for some ideas of what to use it for. its 6000 square metres and i would like to keep the pirate theme. At the moment, ideas to exclude because i have already thought of them are: laser emporium, bar, skittles, Roller skating rink.
      thank you

I’ve recently discovered the joys of blogging. Now, after a couple of months of this, I find I’m dissatisfied with the templates you can chose from. I want a big 3 column blog, a big banner across the top, two fixed sidebars and a floating main column. Sounds easy enough but I’m having a hell of a time. I know a little html coding and designed my own website, so I’m no stranger to this but designing blogs is a whole different thing. It’s XHTML, for one thing and they have a whole bunch of files, each one with a little code that you’re supposed to figure out. Then, it seems, there is no standard way of doing this. Blogger has it’s own code or something, as does WordPress, Moveable Type and a myriad of others.

      Any ideas?

      http://img4.imageshack.us/img4.....plugin.jpg

This image and the arrow ponting to the plugin in the image, what plugin is it that makes articles rotate by images rotating.

I want to run a news site like that with my own images being showcased in the front page and each image links to a news article.

I also wonder how I can make my wordpress look like a news place with the 2 or 3 columns of blog submissions like articles.

      What plugins do I need?

I am involved heavily with media, photography, and film.
I would like to start a blog to post some of my media content. If possible I would also like to upload photos / text from my iPhone while covering a film festival or tech conference.

I am not very good with coding, and I have read online that you need to install wordpress?
What would be a good website that I could use, that looks professional but can be updated easily to post content to?

      (Jan 29, 2007)

Welcome to the official website of the Voices of Glory Gospel Choir!
This is a free XHTML/CSS-based website template, that anyone may use for any purpose without any obligations or limitations. It was originally based on the andreas01 template to which andreas00 added requested features such as a 2-column layout variation and support for sub-pages in the main menu – features that were later added into andreas01 as well. But there are also other small modifications and a few extras, like the background images in the menu buttons. I hope that you like what you see and that you find the template to be easy to work with. That is what it was made for!

If you use this template, I kindly ask you to leave the credits and the link to my website in the footer since it is a nice way of giving something back to the template designer. But that is only a friendly request, not any obligation.

      Other versions and additional resources
This template is also available as a theme for WordPress and it has been ported to a number of other blogs and CMS as well. New theme versions will be announced on my website whenever a new port is released.

I had a business with someone in the past doing what I wanted and it fell thru. I let her keep the name so I need a new one!
It’s a country type shop or boutique. Will have jewelry and other accessories, small home decor items, some baked goods and other gift items.

      I need some good ideas!
Looking for something cute and catchy, yet southern
Names that are TAKEN but that I thought were pretty good were Dirt Road Divas and Crazy Horse Creations…
